Abstract: The present invention is related to a systems and methods for reserving parking space in real time. The system for reserving parking space in real time comprises a communication means for communication with a central server; a reservation means for requesting a reservation to said central server; an electronic database containing information about parking spaces, which is read and updated by said central server; a positioning means for determining the position of a vehicle, for which the parking space is reserved and communicating said position to the central server; and the central server being configured to: communicate with said communication means, receive reservation requests from said reservation means, process said reservation requests and reserve a parking space, communicate with said positioning means; classify the parking space according to a feature defined by the interested party and reallocate a parking space from a reservation already generated according to said defined feature.
