More particularly, it relates to a system of marker devices affixed to a volleyball net for use in training volleyball players in hitting the volleyball toward the most vulnerable area in the opposing team's defense. The maker body may include a deflector to cause balls to be deflected at various angles to simulate blocking by a defensive player.

Abstract: Lightweight arm-extending assemblies are used as training devices for sports such as volleyball, football and for individual sports such as boxing and MMA. The arm-extending devices are in the foam of lightweight beams with attachment means for securing the device to the arm of a player to simulate exaggerated abilities of defensive players for conditioning and training an offensive player to face and overcome exaggerated abilities of a defensive player.

Abstract: A simulated human torso is provided with a lateral slot and latch which permits the torso to be mounted on and slideable along the perimeter ropes of a boxing ring. The simulated human torso may also be provided with adjustable arms, target identifiers and the like to simulate defensive positions and training targets. Since the simulated human torso is slideably mounted on perimeter ropes, it may move laterally along the ropes in response to actions of the trainee.
