  • Publication number: 20220143221
Abstract: Compositions and methods are described for the delivery of therapeutic products (such as therapeutic proteins (for example, antibodies), therapeutic RNAs (for example, shRNAs, siRNAs, and miRNAs), and therapeutic aptamers) to the retina/vitreal humour in the eyes of human subjects to treat pathologies of the eye, involving, for example, recombinant viral vectors such as recombinant adeno-associated virus (rAAV) vectors.

  • Patent number: 10935098
Abstract: A spring is provided that exhibits a variable and non-linear loading response upon compression. The spring comprises a continuous wire having a lower end convolution, an upper end convolution, and a plurality of helical intermediate convolutions. The upper end convolution, the lower end convolution, and the helical intermediate convolutions each have a respective diameter, with the continuous wire further defining a pitch between the various convolutions. In the spring, one or more of the diameters of the convolutions or one or more of the pitches varies along the length of the continuous wire such that the spring exhibits a non-linear loading response upon compression. A mattress is further provided and includes a plurality of the springs arranged in a matrix.

  • Patent number: 7104187
Abstract: Disposable electric cooking grill liners for protecting an electric cooking grill having a heated grilling surface of each of the pivotally connected moveable and stationary grilling members. Each grilling surface is heated and has raised cooking ribs wherein both sides of food placed between the closed grilling surfaces are simultaneously heated. Each grill liner is formed of a sheet of semi-rigid or heavy heat conductive foil preformed for fitting directly against and substantially conforming to and covering the corresponding grilling surface whereby cooking heat provided to each grilling surface is substantially transferred through the grilling liner without substantial food and juices flowing therefrom coming in contact with the grilling surfaces. Each grill liner also has a rigidized or stiffened margin for maintaining the preformed shape during installation, use and removal of each said grill liner after use.

Each grilling surface is heated and has raised cooking ribs wherein both sides of food placed between the closed grilling surfaces are simultaneously heated. Each grill liner is formed of an unperforated sheet of semi-rigid or heavy aluminum foil preformed for fitting directly against and substantially conforming to and covering the corresponding grilling surface whereby cooking heat provided to each grilling surface is substantially transferred through the grilling liner without food and juices flowing therefrom coming in contact with the grilling surfaces. Each grill liner also has a rigidized outturned margin formed of multiple layers of foil folded over on itself for maintaining the preformed shape during installation, use and removal of each said grill liner after use.
