  • Publication number: 20240072993
Abstract: A wireless mobile device, and a computer-implemented method of distributing encryption keys to Internet of Things (IoT) systems begins with the wireless mobile device requesting IoT systems keys from a key management system with a first radio transceiver. Next, the requested IoT systems keys are received. Each of the IoT systems keys is i) encrypted with a public key from a recipient IoT system, and ii) signed by the key management system. In response to the wireless mobile device being located in proximity to the recipient IoT system, identifiers of the IoT system are received by the wireless mobile device with a second radio transceiver. The wireless mobile device selects at least one of the IoT systems keys that corresponds to the identifiers. The IoT system keys are transmitted from the wireless mobile device to the recipient IoT system with the second radio transceiver.

  • Publication number: 20200349547
Abstract: Within the scope of the Internet of Things, this application helps to provide secure identification, both of users and of their vehicles, while also allowing to establish efficient communication with ad-hoc equipment installed in the environment in order to detect their presence, including those operating at high speed at the time of its passage, in the case of vehicles, for example. This would remove the need for a tag device (Win, Bluetooth, RFID or others) installed inside the vehicle to establish secure wireless detection, since this detection process would be performed through the cell phone itself, reducing infrastructure costs on both sides: at toll points and service payment systems as well as to the end customer.

  • Patent number: 7592961
Abstract: A self-tuning antenna that automatically adjusts its input impedance to compensate for externally induced impedance variations is provided. A variable impedance is adjusted by a control circuit to reconfigure the input impedance of than antenna to compensate for different environmental situations and different transponder mismatch situations. A negative-feedback signal is employed to determine or infer impedance mismatches and reconfigure the antenna input impedance (e.g., capacitance and/or resistance) until a desired equilibrium of the antenna input impedance is reached. A reference measurement (e.g., VSWR measurement) is automatically performed by an antenna tuning circuit that adjusts the antenna's impedance matching circuit to compensate for object interference. The antenna's impedance matching circuit includes a variable capacitor circuit having a plurality of individually controlled parallel plate capacitors that can be added or removed from the variable capacitor circuit, as necessary.
