Abstract: A registry system for creating a gift register. The registry system includes a storage device and a processor. The storage device includes an application with instructions to: (1) create a wish list that includes one or more items selected by a first person and a first identifying code; (2) store the wish list on the storage device; (3) transmit the wish list to a second person upon a command by the first person; (4) create a gift register that includes one or more items selected from the wish list by the second person, and one or more pieces of identifying information; (5) store the gift register on the storage device; and (6) maintain a searchable database that enables a third person to access the wish list by providing the first identifying code, and to access the gift register by providing a sufficient amount of the identifying information. The processor executes the instructions.
