Abstract: An HVAC control system, associated brushless direct current motor, and methods of operation are disclosed. One such control system includes a brushless direct current motor and an optically-isolated interface exposing control access to the brushless direct current motor. The system includes a first programmable controller electrically connected to the brushless direct current motor, the programmable controller configured to receive a control signal via the optically-isolated interface, and a second programmable controller providing the control signal to the optically-isolated interface.

Abstract: A method and system for manipulating playback of advertisements selected from an electronic classified advertising system. The method includes advancing playback an advertisement a first predetermined period of time in response to a first user input, and retreating playback of an advertisement a second predetermined period of time in response to a second user input. The method also includes pausing playback an advertisement in response to a third user input, and resuming playback of the paused advertisement upon the expiration of a third predetermined period of time. The system includes input and output devices, a processor, memory, and software for performing the method.

Abstract: A method and system for providing interactive data exchange between an interactive platform, a caller and at least one operator work associated with the interactive platform. A public switched telephone network having a call transfer feature connects the caller to the interactive platform and connects the caller to the at least one operator in response to an operator assistance signal. The interactive platform is operatively connected to the public switched telephone network and includes an audiotex subsystem for responding to a plurality of telephone signals received from the caller and facilitating interactive data exchange with the caller by providing audio output signals to the caller in response to the plurality of telephone signals. The interactive platform further stores an interactive data exchange record representing the interactive data exchange between the caller and the interactive platform.

Abstract: A method and system for interacting with a database via multiple types of media where the database includes data lacking a format for use with each of the media. The method includes selecting data to be accessed, selecting one of the media for providing access to the data selected, automatically formatting the data selected for use with the media selected, and transmitting the formatted data for output via the media selected. The system includes a processor, memory, software and media required for performing the method.

Abstract: An electrical circuit board interconnection system having motherboard 13 and a plurality of option board assemblies 10. Each option board assembly 10 has circuit board 15 to which is attached male pin connector assembly 12 on one surface and a mating female connector assembly 11 on the other surface. Both connector assemblies are oriented with pins 17 and female receptacles 18 parallel to the surface of the boards 15. Ejector levers 14 attached to female connector 11 to bear against male pin housing 36 to assist in disconnection option boards 10 from each other and motherboard 13. Power transfer bus 42 and signal transfer bus 43 interconnect the male and female pin connection 12 and 11 of each circuit board 15 to facilitate the sequential interconnection of a plurality of option board assemblies 10 to motherboard 13.
