  • Patent number: 5022547
Abstract: A fluid container assembly including one large, relatively narrow container having an orthogonally shaped recess or depression in a wall portion thereof, and two small fluid containers nested within the recess. The recess has means therein engagable with mating means on each of the small containers for retaining the small containers within the recess against accidental dislodgement and so that the external walls of the containers are flush. Each fluid container is provided with a tamper indicating insert such that tampering renders difficult withdrawing fluid.

  • Patent number: 4958595
Abstract: A disposable bird feeder is disclosed. The feeder includes a tray that has a pair of side walls. Each of the side walls includes a lower portion that is joined to the tray and an upper portion located above the tray. A general section supports the tray. The central section includes a horizontal member having opposite ends, each of which is joined to a respective side wall. The central section also includes a member for supporting the feeder. Finally, a pouch of bird feed is provided being carried by the central section and depending therefrom between the side walls and above the tray. The pouch includes manually-manipulatable device for providing a metered release of the bird feed from the pouch and onto the tray.

  • Patent number: 4244254
Abstract: A carton for cutting and dispensing sheet material in flattened form with a cutter mechanism for effecting same. The cutter is part of an upper bar suitably attached to the top wall member of the carton with the top normally maintained open by a spring carried by one or both of separate plastic end cap members. The upper bar also carries a pair of parallel plate-like members which extend laterally for substantially the full length of the carton and engages and wipes past a pair of similar parallel plate-like members on a lower bar attached to the front panel. This wiping action places the sheet material, which is manually positioned to overlie the lower bar, in tension with the cutter severing the tensioned sheet material.

  • Patent number: 4187058
Abstract: A portable air compressor which operates from a cigarette lighter socket is housed in a generally triangular casing having a luminescent triangular hazard warning on at least one surface. The casing includes a lower compartment in which the compressor and motor are stored and an upper compartment in which the power cord and air hose are stored. The two compartments are separated by a horizontal wall having a plurality of slots defined therethrough to provide adequate ventilation between the compartments. Flip-up access panels in the sidewalls provide easy access to the top compartment for deployment of the air hose and power cord. Openings in the front and rear walls at the top and bottom of the housing assure ample ingress of air, both to supply the compressor and to establish a convective cooling flow through the compartments and the slotted wall.

  • Patent number: 4171741
Abstract: Large heavy objects, such as garden tractors, other wheeled vehicles and non-wheeled objects are packaged in a carton which includes a rectangular skid or frame formed of elongated structural members, preferably wood, arranged with two spaced parallel side members (footings) and a plurality of cross members extending therebetween. Some of said cross members (slats) are attached to the underneath surface of the side members while others of the cross members (chocks) are attached to the top surface of the side members at points spaced inwardly a prescribed distance from the outermost of the slats lying therebeneath. A cover member formed from some conventional material such as corrugated cardboard includes an opposed pair of side walls connected by an opposed pair of end walls, and a pair of upper major side flaps and upper minor side flaps attached to and extending upwardly from the upper edge of said side and end walls respectively.
