  • Patent number: 10979423
Abstract: Systems and techniques for bi-directional voice authentication are described herein. A first audio segment and a first description of the first audio segment may be received. An authentication token may be created using the first audio segment and the first description. An authentication request may be received from the user. The first audio segment may be transmitted to the user. A second description of the first audio segment may be received from a device of the user in response to the transmission of the first audio segment. The second description may be compared to the first description. The authentication token may be selected based on the comparison. The authentication token may be transmitted to the device. Requests of the user for secure information may be authenticated using the authentication token for a duration of an interaction session between the user and the device.

  • Publication number: 20210101223
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a welding system having a welder, a welding gun, and a welding gun adapter, the welding gun being a spool gun with an attached motor. The welding gun adapter receives welding power from the welder, and converts it to output power suitable for driving the motor of the welding gun. The welding gun adapter also uses received welding power from the welder for control power. The present techniques allow for the use of welding guns requiring motor power to be used with any ordinary welder.

  • Publication number: 20210069814
Abstract: Disclosed example power supplies, user interfaces, and methods are provided for simple and intuitive setup for configurable and/or default settings for a welding power source and/or wire feeder. The welding parameters may correspond to a default and/or factory setting that represents empirically adduced values for a particular welding procedure (e.g., based on material type, electrode diameter, welding process and/or tool, etc.). The welding parameters may additionally or alternatively be configured for a particular purpose. Once a configurable setting has been selected, the configurable setting controls the system output. Furthermore, once a configurable set of welding parameters has been established, the operator may return to the default settings by resetting the welding parameters.

  • Publication number: 20210010739
Abstract: The invention provides an IG unit comprising two panes and a between-pane space located between the two panes. A desired surface of a selected one of the two panes bears a coating comprising both a transparent conductive oxide film, and an overcoat film located over the transparent conductive oxide film. The IG unit further comprises a bus bar and a transparent conductor bridge each located over the desired surface. The bus bar is spaced apart from the coating and is connected electrically to the transparent conductive oxide film by virtue of the transparent conductor bridge extending from the bus bar to a top surface of the overcoat film. In some embodiments, the IG unit further comprises a frit located over the desired surface and extending around a perimeter thereof. The bus bar is located over the frit. Certain embodiments provide a refrigerator having a door comprising such an IG unit.

  • Patent number: 10880436
Abstract: Various examples are directed to systems and methods for detecting potentially fraudulent voice calls to a financial services institution. A computing system may receive an indication of a voice call placed by a voice caller to an operator. The computing system may generate a network address indicator describing a network location. The network address indicator may be provided to the voice caller. The computing system may receive an indication of a financial services account indicated by the voice caller. The computing system may also receive an indication of an access to the network location by a remote device. The computing system may determine, using the indication of the access to the network location, a first location associated with the remote device and determine that the first location does not match a second location associated with the financial services account. The computing system may generate an alert indicating that the voice call is potentially fraudulent.
