  • Patent number: 11682027
Abstract: A system and method for expediting fulfillments of online ordered dual-commerce available deliverables, by a customer of one or more expedited service areas (ESAs) where a sequenced deliverable pickup fulfillment or procurement access is provided within a specified time-window, and/or by delivery fulfillments made to specific locations, as selected in a graphical user interface (GUI) present in a display screen of a personal wireless communication (PWC) device or handheld PWC device. ESAs including designated ESAs are located within, adjacent, or nearby, respective deliverable provider networked-venues (DPNVs) and provide deliverable pickup fulfillments or procurement access more quickly to scheduled ESA-visit customers than DPNVs provide to non-ESA customers.

  • Publication number: 20140020166
Abstract: A water-conserving system equipped to periodically rinse ultra high-efficiency urinal drainage plumbing of corrosive waste liquid and reduce associated gaseous odor is provided. A valve-controllable rinse-cycle supply of water is provided which can selectively be directed into a single drainage conduit which receives waste water from one or more ultra high-efficiency urinals. The system provides embodiments having mechanical valves, or electro-mechanical valves configured responsive to control-signals provided from one or more electronic components, or one or more types of microprocessor-enabled devices, networked devices or computer apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20120079650
Abstract: A self-rinsing urinal and very low water-usage mist-dispensing means mountable in close proximity to a normally-interior portion of at least one positionable panel configured slidably or pivotally positionable from an opening of customary cabinetry of a room or a wall. The urinal is positionable from the customary cabinetry or wall opening, between a zero-footprint concealed state and a revealed-for-use state, such that an interior receptacle surface of the urinal is aligned with said very low water-usage mist-dispensing means during at least a revealed-for-use state, to receive from the mist-dispensing means a distributed misted spray aligned with the receptacle, to repel waste-liquid from and facilitate a self-rinsing of the receptacle while employing as little as single-digit ounce(s) of water, per use-cycle. Certain of the embodiments include the option to provide actuating means for positioning and/or aligning one or more urinal-related components in response to receiving a control signal.

  • Publication number: 20090048878
Abstract: A system for expediting procurement of one or more deliverables by a customer of one or more expedited service areas including one or more designated expedited service areas, the designated expedited service areas associated with, and located at, adjacent to, or in the vicinity of, one or more venues, and the venues providing one or more venue-available deliverables. At least some of the designated expedited service areas include a distinct physical location that scheduled-customers visit separate from non-scheduled customers configured to provide procurance of venue-available deliverables more quickly to scheduled-customers.

  • Publication number: 20070012755
Abstract: The present invention is a separable two-piece food-serving apparatus with a quick-fit releasable and re-attachable hinge, comprised of an upper carton lid which is rotatably positionable over a lower carton food-serving tray to form a food-enclosing container. The tray has a bottom wall sized, shaped and having sufficient rigidity to be self-supporting when accommodating the weight, shape and typical bottom area of one or more food-items. The bottom wall has one or more adjoining tray side wall extending upward therefrom in a manner which provides a cantilevering support. Preferably the tray is made of a flexible material which accommodates a plurality of bending or flexing cycles and thereby facilitates the eating of food. The tray has hinge-portion tab(s) which, when brought into engagement with the hinge-portion aperture(s) of the lid provide a quick-fit releasable and re-attachable complete hinge. Exterior surfaces of the separable apparatus optionally display discernible content.

  • Publication number: 20060041345
Abstract: The invention pertains to the field of security for aircraft and other vehicles, and more particularly to systems for preventing the hijacking, commandeering or suicide bombing of aircraft, or other vehicle(s). Aircraft system and vehicle system embodiments of the invention have one or more kinds of automating computers capable of safely controlling either an aircraft or vehicle in one or more types of common, well-proven, or yet-to-be-developed, computer-automated modes. The system provides mechanical control linkage disabling means interfaced with control signal receiving means responsive to wireless, or hard-wired, transmitted security-related control signal(s). Control linkage disabling means are located within a series of physical control linkage components of a vehicle at a point subsequent to where manual control input is initiated and prior to where computer automated control is provided.
