  • Publication number: 20240092218
Abstract: A circuit assembly for precharging a high-voltage DC voltage intermediate circuit for a motor vehicle is provided. The circuit assembly includes a high-voltage battery with battery terminals to which the intermediate circuit is electrically coupled. Intermediate circuit terminals of the intermediate circuit are electrically coupled to corresponding station terminals of a high-voltage charging station for providing a charging current, wherein the intermediate circuit terminals are each selectively, electrically coupled to corresponding feeding points of the intermediate circuit via charging current-connecting switching elements by opening and closing. The switching elements are opened prior to coupling the intermediate circuit terminals to the station terminals. Electric potentials of the feeding points are equalized to each other by a first precharging current.

  • Publication number: 20230084133
Abstract: A deployment system can include a computing device that is configured to receive a broadcast message from a deployment device in response to the deployment device receiving an approval notification and obtain a plurality of deployment parameters via a distributed communications system. The computing device can also be configured to identify an installation time included in the plurality of deployment parameters and download application data associated with an application identifier included in the plurality of deployment parameters to a local database. The computing device can also be configured to initiate an installation of the application data from the local database at the installation time and transmit a status update to the deployment device in response to the installation being initiated.

  • Patent number: 10151340
Abstract: After a connecting rod for an engine is formed, it is broken or fractured at a fracture point to allow the connecting rod to assemble around a portion of a crankshaft. However, before fracturing the connecting rod, the connecting rod is provided with a layer of paint across the eventual fracture point such that when the connecting rod is fractured the paint extends across both sides of the fracture point. Also before fracturing the connecting rod, serial numbers or symbols are etched into the paint on either side of the eventual fracture point. These serial numbers are unique to that connecting rod, and have similar indicia on either side of the connecting rod. The combination of the paint and serial numbers increase the ability of an assembly worker to assure matching parts of an original connecting rod are re-attached during assembly about the crankshaft.
