The user credentials and an authorisation initialisation request are communicated for establishing access to the computing resource. The user credentials are verified. An authorisation identity is created and stored which is associated with the authorisation initialisation request. A permission set of permissions to access the computing resources is linked to the authorisation identity. An authorisation identity token representing the authorisation identity is generated. The authorisation identity token is communicated. The authorisation identity token is stored. Storage of the authorisation identity token is such that, to request access to the computing resources, the authorisation identity token or a token derived from the authorisation identity token is communicated to a resources server with a resource access request, such that the resource server can authorise the resource access request.

The system utilizes a device for measuring the volume of entrained gas in the wet scrubbing system, and automatically or semi-automatically adjusting one or more process parameters including: a flow rate of antifoam/defoamer chemistry in said wet scrubber; a flow rate of flue gas; and a flow rate of fresh water. The system allows real-time monitoring and control of the foam in said wet scrubber.
