  • Patent number: 11946225
Abstract: One embodiment of a hydraulic system for a machine has a first hydraulic circuit including a first pump coupled to a first hydraulic actuator configured to move a first implement of the machine. A second hydraulic circuit includes a second pump coupled to a second hydraulic actuator configured to move a second implement. An electric motor mechanically couples to the first pump and to the second pump. An operator interface receives input from an operator requesting movement of the first and second implements. A controller communicatively coupled to the electric motor and to the operator interface determines, based on the requested movement of the first and second implements respectively, first and second flow allocations respectively for the first and second pumps and determines respective target displacements for the first and second pumps.

  • Publication number: 20170138018
Abstract: A hydraulic system is disclosed for use with. a machine. The hydraulic system may have an actuator, a valve associated with the actuator, at least one sensor configured to generate signals indicative of performance parameters of the hydraulic system, and a controller. The controller may be configured to determine at least one of a diagnostic movement and position of at least one of the fluid actuator and valve required to perform a health cheek, and to correlate the signals generated only during completion of the diagnostic movement or only when the at least one of the fluid actuator and valve are in the diagnostic position to values of the performance parameters. The controller may also be configured to make a comparison of the values of the performance parameters to expected values, and to determine a health of the hydraulic system based on the comparison.

  • Publication number: 20150047331
Abstract: A hydraulic system for a machine is disclosed. The system includes an actuator configured to move a portion of the machine, a pump configured to supply pressurized fluid to the actuator, an accumulator fluidly coupled to the actuator, a valve arrangement configured to selectively direct the fluid discharged from the actuator to the accumulator for storage and to selectively direct the stored fluid from the accumulator to the actuator, and a controller. The controller is configured to determine an accumulator pressure, an actuator pressure, and an operational parameter associated with an implement system. Further, the controller is configured to determine an accumulator control mode. The controller determines an accumulator pressure leakage rate when the accumulator control mode is neutral.
