  • Patent number: 10513834
Abstract: A modular block retaining wall construction system with a plurality of blocks. Each of the plurality of blocks include (i) a front wall defining a face surface, (ii) a pair of exterior sidewalls extending from the front wall, (iii) an exterior rear wall extending partially between the pair of exterior sidewalls, (iv) an interior rear wall extending partially between the pair of exterior sidewalls and spaced between the front surface and the exterior rear wall, (v) a pair of interior sidewalls extending between the exterior rear wall and the interior rear wall, and (vi) a divider extending from the interior rear wall, extending between the pair of interior sidewalls, and partially defining a plurality of channels. In this manner, each channel can be filled with a predetermined amount of material, e.g., gravel, to facilitating proper drainage of liquid, e.g., water, from the soil and/or other material retained by the retaining wall of the present inventive concept.

  • Publication number: 20180274195
Abstract: A modular block retaining wall construction system with a plurality of spacer plates securely fastened to a plurality of blocks. At least one arm extends (i) from each of the plurality of spacer plates, and (ii) partially into an aperture in the one of the plurality of modular blocks. Each of the plurality of spacer plates includes a plate that is spaced from the one of the plurality of modular blocks via the at least one arm at a predetermined distance, thereby defining a cavity therebetween. In this manner, the cavity can be filled with a predetermined amount of material, e.g., gravel, to facilitating proper drainage of liquid, e.g., water, from the soil and/or other material retained by the retaining wall of the present inventive concept.

  • Publication number: 20120199721
Abstract: A combination retaining wall structure and masonry form apparatus is provided having a first block with a depending lip and a non-linear edge, a second block having an upper surface with a recess presenting an inwardly facing edge, the second block being positioned with respect to a rotational axis through the first block. A zone of contact is located at the intersection of the inwardly facing edge and the outwardly facing edge, providing an area for rotation of the first block about the rotational axis of the second block. The first and second blocks forming a non-linear masonry wall structure having an upright axis, about which plural blocks may be rotated. The depending lip and recess being provided by a masonry form having a first, second, third and fourth sides, the first and second sides being removable for interchangeably configuring the first and second block.
