  • Patent number: 11881112
Abstract: Recent location and control information received from “lead” vehicles that traveled over a segment of land, sea, or air is captured to inform, via aggregated data, subsequent “trailing” vehicles that travel over that same segment of land, sea, or air. The aggregated data may provide the trailing vehicles with annotated road information that identifies obstacles. In some embodiments, at least some sensor control data may be provided to the subsequent vehicles to assist those vehicles in identifying the obstacles and/or performing other tasks. Besides, obstacles, the location and control information may enable determining areas traveled by vehicles that are not included in conventional maps, as well as vehicle actions associated with particular locations, such as places where vehicles park or make other maneuvers.

  • Patent number: 11707838
Abstract: A machine learning system builds and uses control policies for controlling robotic performance of a task. Such control policies may be trained using targeted updates. For example, two trials identified as similar may be compared and evaluated to determine which trial achieved a greater degree of task success; a control policy update may then be generated based on identified differences between the two trials.

  • Patent number: 11444936
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for managing security credentials. In one embodiment, knowledge-based questions are selected in response to failing to receive a valid master security credential in a request to authenticate a user account for access to account data. In response to receiving the request, the plurality of knowledge-based questions are provided to an application. Answers to the knowledge-based questions are received and scored. Access is granted to establish a new master security credential based at least in part on the score meeting or exceeding a predetermined threshold.

  • Patent number: 11263579
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a network of autonomous vehicles, such as autonomous ground vehicles (“AGVs”) that deliver items to and/or from a destination location and/or perform a service. For example, a community (e.g., neighborhood, apartment complex) may include a plurality of autonomous vehicles that deliver payloads to different locations (e.g., homes, apartments) within the community for use or consumption. Some of the payloads are community items (e.g., microwave, stove top, cooking utensils) that are shared by members of the community and transferred between locations within the community by autonomous vehicles.

  • Patent number: 11235929
Abstract: Autonomous vehicles may be deployed to areas where an item is in demand, and configured to fulfill orders for the item received from the areas. The autonomous vehicles are loaded with the item and dispatched to the area under their own power or in a carrier. When an order for the item is received, an autonomous vehicle delivers the item to a location in the area. Autonomous vehicles may also be equipped with a 3D printer or other equipment and loaded with materials for manufacturing the item. When an order for the item is received, the autonomous vehicle manufactures the item from such materials, and delivers the item. Autonomous vehicles may be configured for collaboration, such as to deliver or manufacture items in multiple stages and to transfer the items between vehicles. Autonomous vehicles may also be configured to automatically access locations in the area, e.g., using wireless access codes.

  • Patent number: 11075911
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are described for a network address block treatment server. The network address block treatment server identifies blocks of network addresses, associates them with treatments, and generates compact representations of the network address blocks. Blocks may be identified based on network activity data or on the treatment of individual network addresses, and treatments may be associated with address blocks based on address-level and/or block-level criteria. Treatments may include, for example, denying service requests, throttling, queueing, issuing a challenge-response, or limiting the number or scope of services. The network address block treatment server may review treatments periodically or upon receipt of additional network activity data. The server may implement treatments in connection with firewall or routing services, or may transmit address block representations and associated treatments to network service providers for implementation.

  • Patent number: 11042869
Abstract: A payment object service receives a request from a giver to associate a payment amount to an object. The request includes one or more images of the object and recipient information, which the payment object service uses to determine whether the association between these images and the information is unique. If the association is unique, the payment object service updates a database to associate the payment amount to the object and enable redemption of the payment amount. When the payment object service receives a request to redeem at least a portion of the payment amount, the payment object service may use one or more images and recipient information obtained from the request to verify that the images and information together correspond to the object. Once the redemption is complete, the payment object service may update the database to specify the current remaining payment amount.

  • Patent number: 11021247
Abstract: Described is system and method for determining a location of a client device. In one implementation, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) receives an image of the UAV, obtained by the client device. The image is processed to determine a source area of the client device. As the UAV navigates toward the area, it scans the area for the client device and/or obtains additional information from the client device to aid in determining the location of the client device.

  • Patent number: 10979415
Abstract: Two unmanned vehicles come within communication range of one another. The unmanned vehicles exchange logs of messages each has received. Each of the unmanned vehicles analyzes the messages that it received from the other unmanned vehicle to determine whether any of the received messages warrants changing a set of tasks it was planning to perform. When a message indicates that a task should be changed, the task is updated accordingly.

  • Patent number: 10926408
Abstract: A machine learning system builds and uses control policies for controlling robotic performance of a task. Such control policies may be trained using targeted updates, for example by comparing two trials to identify which represents a greater degree of task success, using this to generate updates from a reinforcement learning system, and weighting the updates based on differences between action vectors of the trials.

  • Patent number: 10911224
Abstract: A method of implementing a network-enabled secure door lock, comprising determining, at a first component of the lock, a nonce; wirelessly transmitting the nonce to a second component of the door lock, the first component and second component selectively mechanically engagable with one another to prevent relative movement between the first component and second component to prevent opening of a door; receiving, at the first component, a first message; using a cryptographic key associated with the second component and the nonce to validate the first message; and as a result of determining that the message is valid, transmitting a second message indicating that the first component and second component have become mechanically engaged with one another.

  • Patent number: 10878080
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for replicating authentication data between computing devices. A computing device detects a change to a user account made by a first client device associated with the user account. The computing device then determines that a second client device associated with the user account comprises locally stored authentication data that fails to reflect the change. The computing device then sends an update to the second client device.

  • Patent number: 10841297
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for providing multi-factor authentication credentials. In one embodiment, in response to a request from an application, a notification is generated in a notification area of a display. Entry of a user approval is facilitated via the notification. The security credential may be shown in the notification area so that a user may enter it in a form field of the application.

  • Patent number: 10798545
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided herein for configuring a device. In some embodiments, a device identifier associated with a target device is received from a service provider computer. A connection request comprising the device identifier is received. In response to receiving the connection request, the target device is configured to connect to a network access point. A request for configuration information associated with the target device may be requested. In some examples, the configuration information comprises authentication information associated with a user account. In response to receiving the configuration information, the configuration information may be transmitted to the target device. The transmission of the configuration information may cause the target device to be configured to exchange data with the service provider computer.

  • Patent number: 10785261
Abstract: A client establishes a network session with a server. The network session is used to establish an encrypted communications session. The client establishes another network session with another server, such as after terminating the first network session. The client resumes the encrypted communications session over the network session with the other server. The other server is configured to receive encrypted communications from the client and forward them to the appropriate server.

  • Patent number: 10693885
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for a social networking behavior-based identity system that employs social networking data that a user has elected to share through an opt-in procedure. An assertion of a user identity is received from a client. It is determined whether the assertion of the user identity specifies a correct security credential. Social networking data identifying a circle of friends is received. It is determined whether the user identity belongs to a user at the client based at least in part on a reputation of one or more members of the circle of friends and whether the assertion of the user identity specifies the correct security credential.
