Abstract: An apparatus, system, and method for an inline display of related blog postings. The apparatus, system, and method include searching a first blog for material common to the first blog and to a second blog and adding a link to the common material in the second blog. The link includes an interactive indicator in the second blog that displays a posting from the first blog that contains the common material in response to selection of the indicator. The apparatus, system, and method include marking each posting in the first blog that contains the common material and that has been displayed in the second blog as having been read.

Abstract: An audio broadcast creation client applies the concept of style sheets to audio data intended for audio broadcasts. The creation client associates style sheet elements to sections of the audio broadcast. An audio broadcast rendering engine applies the style sheet elements at runtime to alter or enhance sections of the audio broadcast. Different style sheets may be applied to the same raw audio broadcast data to alter the end result. A template is provided for generating audio broadcasts. The user may record the appropriate audio files and refer to these audio files in fields of the audio broadcast template.

Each node in a knowledge network associated with a first piece of expertise information that communicates with at least one other node associated with the first piece of expertise information is aggregated to form a first expertise network. Each node in the first expertise network associated with a second piece of expertise information that communicates with at least one other node associated with the second piece of expertise information is aggregated to form a second expertise network. Visual representations of the knowledge network, the first expertise network, and the second expertise network are generated. Trends and patterns are determined using the visualization of the knowledge network, the visualization of the first expertise network, and the visualization of the second expertise network.

Each application is operable to execute on a data processing system and output of the first application is executed on the data processing system. The apparatus comprises a classifier for associating the first application and the second application with classification data, wherein the classification data is stored in a classification data structure; a comparator for comparing the classification data associated with the first application and the second application with the classification data structure to determine a priority; and a generator, responsive to determination of the priority, for generating metadata associated with at least one of: the output of the first application and the output of the second application.

Abstract: A context enhanced messaging and collaboration system in which resources related to the context of text messages may be automatically identified and exchanged between users in association with the text messages, is provided. A graphical user interface (GUI) is provided for instant messaging between client devices. The GUI operates in conjunction with a context analysis engine that automatically analyzes the context of the textual messages being exchanged between the users and retrieves resources that correspond to the detected context. Representations of these automatically identified resources may be presented to the user via the GUI. The user of the GUI may enter text messages into the GUI and may select individual ones of the retrieved resources for transmission in association with the text messages. Furthermore, an automated mechanism may be used to select resources to attach to individual text messages entered by the user.
