Abstract: A remotely controlled flying camera system can to disable recording and/or streaming by a camera system on a flying device based on one or more programmed criteria. The programmed criteria can be based on predictions of when the flying camera system is likely being used as a surveillance camera and/or in situations that can result in an invasion of privacy. The predictions can be based on movements of the flying device and/or the surrounding. The system can reduce privacy invasion concerns with the use of the flying camera system, without completely removing or disabling the associated camera system.

Abstract: The disclosure herein provides dynamically configurable remote control unit systems, methods, and devices. A dynamically configurable controller comprises: a transmitter configured to transmit a control signal for receipt by a flying device, the control signal comprising data for operating a plurality of flight control channels of the flying device; a plurality of input controls configured for manipulation by a user to control a plurality of input channels; a computer processor configured to generate the control signal based at least in part on manipulations of the plurality of input controls; and at least one control mode input configured to enable the user to switch the dynamically configurable controller between first and second control modes.

The front coaxial rotor assembly is made up of front upper and lower rotors and a front stabilizing bar operatively connected to the front upper rotor. The rear coaxial rotor assembly is made up of rear lower and upper rotors and a rear stabilizing bar operatively connected to the rear upper rotor. The helicopter includes a means for concentrically rotating the front lower and upper rotors in opposite directions and a means for concentrically rotating the rear lower and upper rotors in opposite directions. The means for concentrically rotating the front lower and upper rotors in opposite directions includes first and second front electric motors, and the means for concentrically rotating the rear lower and upper rotors in opposite directions includes first and second rear electric motors.

Abstract: A spinning display system includes a housing, a first blade assembly, a second blade assembly, at least one support arm extending radially outward from the housing, and a display panel coupled to the distal end of each support arm. The housing supports a motor and electronics, and the motor includes a motor shaft. The first blade assembly is coupled to the motor shaft. The second blade assembly is coupled to the housing. The motor is configured to spin the first blade assembly in a first direction about a longitudinal axis of the housing and spin the second blade assembly, the at least one support arm and the display panels in an opposite direction about the longitudinal axis of the housing. The display panel is configured to display a user-selected message while the display panel is spinning. Neither the first nor the second blade assembly is attached to the display panel.
