  • Patent number: 7594787
Abstract: A slidably retainable fastener assembly for securing loads to a track is provided with a retainer adapted to fit at least partly within a track slot and a member operating on the retainer, the member being positionable in at least a first position and a second position. When the member is positioned in the first position, the member causes the retainer to disengage the track slot thereby allowing the fastener to be movable within the track slot, and when the member is positioned in the second position, the member causes the retainer to engage the track slot thereby causing the fastener to remain stationary within the track slot.

  • Patent number: 7504133
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a bed liner for a truck bed. The method comprises providing a truck bed, applying a masking device to an orifice in the truck bed, retaining the masking device in the orifice by inserting a portion of the masking device into the orifice, applying a coating of truck bed liner material to the truck bed, and removing the masking device. After removing the masking device, a region of the truck bed surrounding the orifice is free of the truck bed liner material. The orifice may include a nut. A portion of the masking device can be inserted into the nut. The masking device may include a clip.

  • Patent number: 7222913
Abstract: A continuous, hydroformed tubular member includes a horizontal member having a first end and a second end. A first vertical member has a first lower end coupled to the first end of the horizontal member. The first vertical member also has a first upper pillar-free end to form a first pillar configured to form a terminal end of an upwardly-open rear bed of a motor vehicle. A second vertical member has a second lower end coupled to the second end of the horizontal member. The second vertical member also has a second upper pillar-free end to form a second pillar configured to form the terminal end of the upwardly-open rear bed of a motor vehicle. The horizontal member, the first vertical member, and the second vertical member together form a one-piece, unitary U-shaped member.
