    Abstract: A reflex reflector can include a base having a portion covered with a metallic coating and a portion that is not covered with a metallic coating. A reflector lens can be mounted on only the portion without the metallic coating. The portion of the base with the metallic coating remains exposed and serves as an accent piece. The reflex reflector can be mounted in a recess provided in a bumper cover for a vehicle.
