Publication number: 20230381397Abstract: An aspiration system to control vacuum pressure in an ultrasonic surgical handpiece to result in improved control responsiveness during aspiration. The system comprises a console including a vacuum pump. The system includes a cassette comprising a joint that divides a vacuum path into at least two flow paths. A first joint port couples to a first flow path. A second flow path is coupled to a second joint port, a third flow path is coupled to a third joint port, and a fourth flow path is coupled to a port on a surgical waste receiver. A first sensor senses pressure in the fourth flow path and provides a waste receiver pressure signal. A second sensor senses pressure in the third flow path and provides a tip pressure signal. The controller controls a position of a first vent valve and a second vent valve based on the waste receiver pressure signal and the tip pressure signal, respectively.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 28, 2023Publication date: November 30, 2023Applicant: Stryker CorporationInventors: Adam Darwin Downey, Brett Merkel, Michael Teasdale Smith, Robert Mitchell Baldwin, Benjamin Fineout, Jon Bodnar, Darryl D. Daniel, II, Anthony Gatica, Mark Friedman

Patent number: 10674829Abstract: A tray table assembly adapted to move to and from a stowed position in a stowage module positioned to one side of a passenger seat. The assembly includes an arcuate rail movably mounted in the stowage module, a tray table mounted on the rail for arcuate movement along the rail between the stowed position and the deployed position relative to the rail, and also mounted on the rail for fore and aft translating movement in the deployed position. The tray table rides on an arcuate rail that permits both deployment and fore and aft movement of the tray table, and automatically centers the tray table during movement toward the stowed position.Type: GrantFiled: March 9, 2018Date of Patent: June 9, 2020Assignee: B/E Aerospace, Inc.Inventors: Alexander Nicholas Pozzi, Darryl D. Daniel, Mark W. Foohey, Samuel C. Scudder, John C. Horton, IV

Patent number: 10370107Abstract: A tray table configured to transition between a stowed position within a stowage module to a deployed position outside of the stowage module by way of an arced rail having rail heads, and a plurality of tray table wheels and stowage module wheels arranged to mesh with the rail heads. The tray table follows an arcuate path between the stowed and deployed positions and remains horizontal in all positions of the tray table.Type: GrantFiled: March 29, 2018Date of Patent: August 6, 2019Assignee: B/E Aerospace, Inc.Inventors: Alexander N. Pozzi, Mark W. Foohey, Sam C. Scudder, John C. Horton, IV, Steve K. Brown, Darryl D. Daniel

Patent number: 10232946Abstract: A passenger seat module, a tray table deployable from within the module, and a drawer deployable from within the tray table. The tray table drawer is accessible regardless of the stowed or deployed position of the tray table to provide a stowage solution independent of tray table deployment. A module adapted to be positioned in proximity to a passenger seat and including a tray table coupled to the module through a support arm, the tray table movable between a stowed position within the module and a deployed position outside of the module.Type: GrantFiled: March 28, 2018Date of Patent: March 19, 2019Assignee: B/E Aerospace, Inc.Inventors: Darryl D. Publication number: 20150077935Abstract: Air filter and cable management assemblies for network communication systems are disclosed. The assemblies include filters that cover one or more communication line cards and their associated connection panels. The assemblies also include cable support structures with cable support brackets that support connected cables while restricting airflow so that airflow is forced through the filter towards the connection panels. This airflow can then pass into housings for the line cards and other circuitry, such as fabric cards, to provide desired cooling. Fan subsystems can also be provided to facilitate airflow. Advantageously, the disclosed air filter and cable management assemblies allow for filtered cooling of stacked network communication systems while greatly simplifying the complexity of the filter and cable installation and maintenance.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 13, 2013Publication date: March 19, 2015Applicant: Anue Systems, Inc.Inventors: Cary J. Wright, Kevin R. Garrett, Scott D. Slade, David E. Howard, Darryl D. Daniel, Christopher C. Ott

Patent number: 7137855Abstract: In some embodiments, a mechanical adapter may be used to couple a first circuit board (e.g., a motherboard) to a second circuit board (e.g., a daughtercard) in a module. The mechanical adapter may have a mounting portion and a configurable portion. In some embodiments, the mounting portion may be similar for multiple configurations of the mechanical adapter. In various embodiments, the motherboard may be similar for different modules. For example, the mechanical adapter may be configured to mount a specific type of daughtercard in the configurable portion, while the mounting portion may be similar to mounting portions on other mechanical adapters with different configurations for different daughtercards (e.g., the motherboard may be similar for each of the different configurations). Therefore, in various embodiments, a common mounting portion may mate to a common motherboard configuration for different products each configured to mount a different daughtercard.Type: GrantFiled: January 18, 2005Date of Patent: November 21, 2006Assignee: National Instruments CorporationInventors: James P.
