Patent number: 9061482Abstract: A bamboo Chair pad that can be manufactured from 100% Anji Mountain bamboo from China. The bamboo is all treated with various protective coatings to add resistance to natural factors including water, sun and dirt. All bamboo chair pads can be manufactured from the harder portions of the bamboo trunk. (Some bamboo is manufactured from the softer fibers of the inside of the bamboo trunk). This portion of the bamboo trunk is not utilized for this invention. The bamboo utilized in the present inventions is taken from the harder part of the bamboo trunk to assure maximum endurance and longevity. The lower trunk portion of the bamboo plant is harder and less porous.Type: GrantFiled: February 28, 2011Date of Patent: June 23, 2015Assignee: GFH Enterprises, Inc.Inventor: Darryl S. Gold

Publication number: 20140079901Abstract: A decorative laminate pad for supporting an item of furniture including a rigid plank having a top surface, bottom surface, and peripheral edge. An ornamental sheet substantially covers the top surface of the rigid plank. The ornamental sheet has a thickness. An adhesive layer is disposed between the top surface of the rigid plank and the ornamental sheet to adhere the ornamental sheet to the rigid plank. A backing layer is adhered to the bottom surface, and a decorative thread is stitched into the decorative laminate pad. The decorative thread passes through the thickness of the ornamental sheet and does not enter the backing layer.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 16, 2013Publication date: March 20, 2014Applicant: Anji MountainInventor: Darryl S. Patent number: 8158232Abstract: A chair pad has foldable panels for movement and shipment. A hard wood chair pad forms from multiple elongated rigid planks, processed like hardwood flooring. The chair pad provides a substantially rigid surface that folds easily for transport and shipping. The rigid planks utilized in the chair pad, similar to hardwood flooring planks, have sufficient thickness such that when they are bonded in an adjacent side by side abutting manner along the longer lengthwise edges similar to some hardwood flooring and further bonded to a backing in an adjacent side by side manner, the planks form a substantially rigid surface. The planks connect adjacently lengthwise along their long side edges.Type: GrantFiled: July 23, 2009Date of Patent: April 17, 2012Assignee: GFH Enterprises, Inc.Inventors: Darryl S. Gold, Jeff Gold

Publication number: 20110143615Abstract: A chair pad or a roll up mat that can be manufactured from medium density fiberboard with a laminate surface decorative layer applied thereon. The laminate is treated with various protective coatings, to add resistance to natural deleterious factors including water and dirt. The chair mat includes a series of planks, held together by tape, with an under layer of a mesh, all applied by resin together, and having a bottom layer of a felt or rubber to provide cushioning when the mat is applied upon a floor or surface, and to function as a living hinge, when it is rolled up or folded for storage or shipment.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 15, 2011Publication date: June 16, 2011Inventor: Darryl S. Publication number: 20100062207Abstract: A shag rug and method of making the same using smooth bamboo yarns formed in chenille pile. The smooth bamboo yarns have a low coefficient of friction and thus the rug and method utilize a blend of bamboo and combed cotton. The blended yarns are formed into chenille and shag of a dense woven character with a subtle sheen. To augment the bamboo yarns, blends of other fibers provide a cotton canvas base for the rug and a backing cloth beneath the base along with a polypropylene border. The blends of fibers vary according to the intended use and location of the shag rug. The shag rug of bamboo resists damage from water, mold, and mildew while limiting the retention of allergens in the bamboo fibers. The bamboo shag rug can be readily cleaned and dried.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 11, 2009Publication date: March 11, 2010Inventor: Darryl S. Gold
