Patent number: 8146622Abstract: A temporary mobility kit to minimize or prevent the inadvertent outflow of tire sealant is provided. The temporary mobility kit includes a switch-inflator assembly and a removable sealant assembly. The switch-inflator assembly includes an air inflator and an associated hose for inflating a tire. The switch-inflator assembly further includes a diverter switch, a power-on, power-off switch, and an air pressure gauge. The diverter switch is a user-operated switch which moves an associated diverter valve between an air inflation function and a sealing function. The sealant assembly includes a sealant hose having a sealant tire valve connector. Electrical wires are provided in operative association with the sealant hose and electrically connect the sealant tire valve connector and the sealant assembly. A circuit arrangement is provided which prevents the inadvertent outflow of tire sealant through a logic arrangement which includes a reset circuit.Type: GrantFiled: August 20, 2007Date of Patent: April 3, 2012Assignee: Ford Global Technologies, LLCInventors: Yingchao Guan, Kimberly Ann Steele, Darryl L. Publication number: 20090193937Abstract: A temporary mobility kit directed to a release arrangement for selectively releasing a sealant bottle from the base of the kit is provided. The temporary mobility kit includes a removable sealant bottle and a kit base. A recessed release button is provided in the kit base. The release button is part of a slidable retaining member which is slidably fitted to a snap-in ring assembly. The snap-in ring assembly is fitted to the kit base. An oval-shaped opening is defined in the slidable retaining member. Resilient members are provided to resist movement of the slidable retaining member. The sealant bottle has a base on which a locking collar is formed. The locking collar can be passed through the oval-shaped opening of the slidable retaining member and is locked into position therewith. The slidable retaining member is ordinarily in a locked or retaining position to hold the sealant bottle in place. A release tool is provided for manipulation of the recessed release button.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 31, 2008Publication date: August 6, 2009Applicant: FORD GLOBAL TECHNOLOGIES, LLCInventors: Kimberly Ann Steele, Darryl L. Patent number: 5467985Abstract: The present invention relates to a new board game in which the players shoot tops, Skelly Tops, around an air cushioned board having number 1-13. The players in this Objectional Air Skelly board game use their preferred top and try to eliminate their opponents game position while covering all 13 numbers, in sequence, and then retracing the numbers from 13 to 1 themselves, thereby becoming winners. This novel game can be played indoors or outdoors and can be played by anyone, from child to adult. Every play of this game is different and offers contestants a variety of challenges while increasing their own game skill.Type: GrantFiled: September 14, 1994Date of Patent: November 21, 1995Inventor: Darryl L.
