Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method and a media device for adaptive streaming of multimedia data. The method comprises receiving, by a media device, a request for streaming a multimedia data, where the multimedia data is divided into a plurality of data packets, identifying one or more network interfaces available in the media device, allocating one or more data packets from the plurality of data packets, to the one or more network interfaces and requesting the one or more data packets of the multimedia data over the allocated one or more interfaces, for adaptively streaming the multimedia data on the media device.

Abstract: A method and device for performing testing across a plurality of smart devices is disclosed. The method includes registering the plurality of smart devices to be accessed for performing testing. The method further incudes determining at least one time-window for each of the plurality of smart devices, wherein a smart device is in an idle mode during the at least one time-window. The method includes gathering testing criteria and time duration for performing a testing operation. The method further includes dynamically creating a test group that includes one or more smart devices from the plurality of smart devices. Each of the one or more smart devices in the test group satisfy the testing criteria and the at least one time-window of each smart device in the test group is within the time duration.

Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to audio-video processing, and more particularly to system and method for dynamically generating and rendering highlights of a video content. In one embodiment, the method may include receiving a start trigger and a stop trigger to generate and render the highlights of a portion of the video content playing on a first device for a registered user, recording at least one sub-portion of the portion of the video content upon receiving the start trigger and until receiving the stop trigger, monitoring the at least one sub-portion of the video content to detect one or more critical events, dynamically generating the highlights of the at least one sub-portion of the video content for each of the one or more critical events, and dynamically rendering the highlights of the at-least one sub-portion of the video content on a second device in possession of the registered user.
