The hopper support device comprises a frame arranged to receive the hopper therein and a mounting member arranged to be mounted on the auger tube to support the frame and the hopper on the auger tube wherein the frame is movable relative to the mounting member between mounted and released positions either by relative sliding in a longitudinal direction of the auger, relative pivotal movement about a horizontal pivot axis, or both.
