Abstract: A method in an integration server includes: obtaining broadcast multimedia data representing a live event; receiving, from a client device, recorded multimedia data collected via a sensor of the client device; based on a comparison of the broadcast multimedia data and the recorded multimedia data, determining that the recorded multimedia data represents the broadcast multimedia data being rendered in physical proximity to the client device; in response to the determination, selecting one of a plurality of interaction definitions corresponding to the live event; and controlling a message generator to transmit a message to the client device according to the interaction definition.
