Abstract: A ceiling ornament system for a ceiling mounted light arrangement includes a flat parabolically shaped non-translucent sheet assembly fixedly or rotatably supported from the ceiling. The light arrangement is formed by an array of horizontally disposed lighting fixtures, each of which has a base depending directly from the bottom of the ceiling. The sheet assembly has holes, preferably arranged in a celestial pattern, which transmit light from the light arrangement through the sheet assembly.
