The removable trucks may be replaced with such alternates as roller blade trucks and ice skate blade type of “truck.” Also disclosed is safety clothing suitable for use when skateboarding or in other activities. The clothing has pockets in the inside thereof to removeably receive cushioning or energy absorbing material, typically in sheet form, such as closed cell foam, so as to be invisible to the casual observer, but to offer substantial protection to body parts such as hips, knees and the like. Abstract: Composite utility pole core systems wherein at least one core member fits within, but is not bonded to, the composite pole. The core systems provide increased bending strength in a hollow composite pole by preventing collapse of the cross section of the pole, the normal precursor to failure in bending of a tubular structure. The core members may be separately manufactured, and used individually or in plurality, being spaced equally along the length of the pole, or spaced unevenly, using closer spacing in the lower regions of the utility pole where bending stress are likely to be the largest.

Abstract: A method for preparing drawings for remodeling buildings and visual images representative of the remodeled building is provided. As a first step, design ideas that utilize predetermined building products are cataloged in a format such as video tape. These design ideas are presented to a client such as a homeowner. Drawings and visual images are then prepared that incorporate the selected design ideas into the layout of the building. The drawings and visual images are prepared using photographs, sketches, and measurements obtained and electronically transmitted to a design center with the aid of a pen-pad computer. The method of the invention is useful in preparing construction drawings and in marketing a remodeling project to an client.
