    Abstract: An apparatus. According to various embodiments, the apparatus comprises a body member, a first arm member connected to the body member, and a second arm member connected to the body member. The body member defines a passageway which is configured to receive a rugged fiber optic cable at a first end of the passageway and a fiber optic connector at a second end of the passageway. The body member also defines a groove along a first surface of the body member. The groove is configured to receive a strength member of the rugged fiber optic cable. The first and second arm members are configured to receive the fiber optic connector therebetween.
