  • Publication number: 20240094710
Abstract: The present disclosure describes computer systems and computer-implemented methods for use in an agricultural operation. Vehicle location information for at least one agricultural vehicle is received, and the vehicle location information is used to determine a vehicle path. Vehicle state information is received from the vehicle and is used to determine whether the vehicle is in a working or non-working state. The vehicle path is then rendered on a map display, with the map display visually distinguishing between sections of the vehicle path traversed while the vehicle is in the working state and sections of the vehicle path traversed while the vehicle is in the non-working state.

  • Publication number: 20230277446
Abstract: A chewable product for oral delivery of a substance. The chewable product is an essentially homogenous portion of nonwoven fabric impregnated with the substance. For example, the chewable product may comprise a nonwoven fabric substrate having a matrix of interleaved fibres. The substance is held within the matrix and releasable therefrom by a chewing action. The nonwoven fabric substrate thus provides a frame for carrying the substance that is both resistant to chewing action (i.e. does not disintegrate when chewed, bitten or sucked) and capable of releasing the substance. The nonwoven fabric substrate may be formed by passing an initial web through a needle loom. The substance may be connected to fibres in the matrix by a binder.

  • Publication number: 20230180816
Abstract: A nonwoven fabric for manufacturing an oral pouched product, where the nonwoven fabric is chewable to increase its liquid permeability. When the nonwoven fabric is used to form a pouch, it may thus control the release of substances from within the pouch. The nonwoven fabric can be formed by applying a diffusion restricting treatment to a base nonwoven fabric. The diffusion restricting treatment may include any of (a) incorporating a digestible compound; (b) incorporating a superabsorbent polymer; (c) incorporating a hydrophobic material; and (d) forming a deformable barrier layer.

  • Patent number: 8929612
Abstract: A system and method are disclosed relating to a pipeline for generating a computer model of a target user, including a hand model of the user's hands, captured by an image sensor in a NUI system. The computer model represents a best estimate of the position of a user's hand or hands and whether the hand or hand is in an open or closed state. The generated hand model may be used by a gaming or other application to determine such things as user gestures and control actions.

  • Patent number: 8070381
Abstract: A base unit for a road stud is provided. In one embodiment, the base unit is made of plastic and has a recess with a plurality of projections. The projections extend over the floor of the recess for retaining a resilient insert within the recess. The base unit comprises a first portion representing the body of the base unit, and one or more additional portions fitted to said first portion, for example by adhesive bonding. Each of said projections may be formed from one or more planar elements. The base unit further has a front portion, a back portion, and opposing side walls, wherein the recess is located between the front and back portion and the opposing side walls. The underside of the front and back portions is provided with ribbing for transverse strengthening. A cavity is formed in the underside of each of the opposing side walls. A colorant may be added to the plastic of the base unit in order to color the base unit, for example to match the color of reflectors provided in the insert.

  • Publication number: 20060206434
Abstract: Selling alarm systems and services previously depended upon the dealers being both the source, of the financing considered necessary for and used to obtain the hardware, and also to sustain linked monitoring and service contracts. Difficulties associated with turnover of both customers and dealers, and the separation between ownership of the alarm hardware and real property where it was installed, created additional transaction and frictional costs. By reversing the credit focus from the alarm dealer to the customer, coordinating ownership of the hardware with the ownership of the protected property, making explicit, rather than concealed, the true charge for associated services, and centralizing these tasks, this method enables both higher-volume and more accurately profitable sales of alarm systems and services.
