  • Patent number: 11895122
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for team-sourced anomaly vetting via automatically-delegated role definition. The method may include automatically determining that an event of the computing system corresponding to activity of an end user is anomalous. Based on the anomalous event, a permission store of the computing system may automatically be edited to include an access restriction on the end user, and a notification may be automatically generated and transmitted to one or both of the end user and another end user. The notification may provide access to an executable statement including code configured to be executed to remove the access restriction. A call to the executable statement by the other end user may be automatically received. Further, the permission store may be automatically edited to remove the access restriction on the end user.

Date of Patent: February 6, 2024
    Assignee: Mastercard International Incorporated
Inventors: Lidan Yin, Naresh Gorantla, Dave Rogers, Tristan Miano, Thomas Hansen

  • Publication number: 20190130064
Abstract: In accordance with one embodiment of the invention, features of biological sequences are represented in a fingerprint that includes a bitset, and may also include counts, strings or continuous values, for the features. The fingerprint can be used with machine learning and statistical methods. This is especially advantageous for, though not limited to, drug discovery processes. The method permits Structure-Activity Relationship (SAR) and Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationship (QSAR) studies to be performed with biological sequences.

  • Patent number: 6363927
Abstract: A log burning device that includes a standing grate that supports at least one log and a cover that is attached by at least one hinge to the standing grate. A method for burning logs using a standing grate that has a hinged cover that is attached to the standing grate. The method includes the steps of rotating the cover to an open position, loading at least one log onto the standing grate, lighting the log, and then rotating the cover to a closed position.

  • Patent number: 6088861
Abstract: A tool includes a body with implements rotatably deployed from the body. The implements have notches in their bases corresponding to open and closed positions, which are engagable by a locking plate of the body. A locking lever rotatably mounted on the body includes a lock actuator plate which does not engage the locking plate when the locking lever is rotated to an unlocked position but does engage the locking plate when the locking lever is rotated to a locked position. The engagement of the locking plate causes it to contact the notches of the implement base, thereby locking the implement either open or closed. The body may be inserted into a handle, such as the handle of a combination tool, so that the operation of the locking lever also locks the body into the handle.
