Abstract: A quench protection arrangement for a superconducting magnet is disclosed. The arrangement comprises: a superconducting magnet comprising a plurality of magnet sections; a plurality of varistors, wherein each of the plurality of varistors is electrically connected in parallel across a respective one of the plurality of magnet sections; and a heater arrangement electrically connected to the plurality of varistors and configured to apply heat to each of the plurality of magnet sections in response to a change in a voltage across any one or more of the plurality of varistors. A method of protecting a superconducting magnet is also disclosed.

Abstract: A grooved panel furniture component having plies spaced apart and parallel to one another, giving the appearance of scored wood. The plies are laminated to a substrate that has a solid color that contrasts with the plies. The panel may be cut to any desired size through a die cut process. In one embodiment of the present invention, the panel may be comprised of paperboard that has a decorative paper poly extruded on its visible surfaces. A sheet of the paperboard with the poly extruded decorative paper is cut into plies.

Abstract: A tool belt having a pouch portion in which items such magnetic objects as nails, screws, and bolts may be contained. The tool belt also having a magnet that may be attached to the pouch portion and that provides a magnetic field in the pouch portion in order to attract magnetic objects into the pouch portion. Also, a method of using a tool belt that includes a pouch portion and a magnet.
