  • Publication number: 20240126954
Abstract: Systems and methods for calculating and predicting hydrological conditions using machine learning to modify hydrological condition algorithms over time. A system can generate, using a first hydrology model for a predefined hydrologic unit, a runoff volumetric forecast, and execute a transport model of the predefined hydrologic unit, resulting in a first hydrograph. The system can receive a flow volumetric report for the predefined hydrologic unit and execute the transport model of the predefined hydrologic unit using the flow volumetric report, resulting in a second hydrograph. The system can also receive a flow volumetric forecast for the predefined hydrologic unit and generate a third hydrograph of the predefined hydrologic unit using the flow volumetric forecast as input. The system can then compare the hydrographs to one another, resulting in a short term correction matrix, and modify the first hydrology model based on the short term correction matrix.

  • Publication number: 20230229928
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for forecasting the impact of climate change, and more specifically to the impact on water quality and/or quantity. The system receives, from a plurality of sensors within a predefined geographic area, environmental data. The system normalizes the environmental data and executes an artificial intelligence algorithm, where inputs to the artificial intelligence algorithm include the normalized environmental data, and outputs of the artificial intelligence algorithm include environmental risks, consequences, and probabilities associated with at least one environmental event. The system then modifies a planned project using the environmental risks, consequences, and probabilities associated with the at least one environmental event.

  • Publication number: 20230196060
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for identifying toxic elements in water, and more specifically to identifying toxins in water based on sensor-detected contaminants and lists of known contaminants. A system can receive water contaminant data from sensors in a predefined geographic area, then normalize that water contaminant data. The system can also receive a list of categorized contaminants and use the list of categorized contaminants and a toxicity of the normalized water contaminants to score water toxicity for that predefined geographic area.

  • Publication number: 20230153495
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for modeling how water, contaminants, and other materials impact neighboring geographic areas. A system can receive data (such as topology data and hydrological data) associated with a geographic area and generate a three dimensional map of the geographic area. The three dimensional map can have cells, each cell cells corresponding to a sub-portion of the geographic area, and each cell having metadata. The system can further modify the three dimensional map to include relationships between the plurality of cells, the relationships based on interactions between the cells, resulting in a digital mesh. When the system receives a request for predicted water quality at a location within the geographic area, the system can model the environmental conditions for the geographic area using the digital mesh, the metadata, and sensor data, resulting in predicted environmental conditions.

  • Publication number: 20220343194
Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media for predicting the water quality within a geographic area based on hydrology data, contaminant data, and/or weather data using Artificial Intelligence (AI). The system can receive hydrology data for a predefined geographic region and real-time sensor data associated with water quality within the predefined geographic region. The system can then initiate a serverless AI algorithm using the hydrology data and the real-time sensor data, then receive output of the algorithm including an initial water quality score. The system can then adjust the initial water quality score based on contaminants within the predefined geographic region and transmit the resulting water quality index score to a mobile computing device.

  • Publication number: 20090222382
Abstract: An Internet-based integrated technology platform that simultaneously supports the management of Public Information Sites—Web sites used to both (1) inform the public; and (2) capture and manage public comment (including submission of images—while at the same time providing support for electronic communication for project teams that manage public involvement projects. The support includes sharing of graphic, text and collaborative tasks. The system and method allow revisions to comments and dynamic feedback in agency decision making based on comments with greater responsiveness. The system is also suited for implementing charettes with a large number of participants.
