    Abstract: A disposable staining system is provided including an insertable module configured to receive a biological sample therein, the insertable module including a well in which the biological sample is positioned; and a staining cartridge configured to receive the insertable module including the biological sample therein, the insertable module being positioned in the staining cartridge. The insertable module has first and second inclined planes on opposing sides of an upper surface of the insertable module. A sled configured to receive the insertable module has corresponding first and second inclined planes on a bottom surface thereof. The first and second inclined planes of the insertable module and the first and second inclined planes of the sled are configured to transform horizontal movement of the insertable module into the staining cartridge into a vertical movement of the sled such that the sled is pushed upward.

    Abstract: Methods, devices and systems are disclosed for improved depth perception in stereoscopic night vision devices. Among these are embodiments for aligning information overlays in the stereo view with associated objects, and for generating stereo information from single lenses or intensifiers. In some illustrative embodiments, a camera and position sensor are provided for at least two viewers, e.g., a pilot and a copilot, such that when a scene overlaps between viewers, the system produces a stereoptic scene, in which the users can more accurately determine a difference in depth between two or more distant objects. An illustrative binocular night vision system uses a high-resolution depth map to present binocular images to a user. In some embodiments, supplementary content can be overlaid, with an appropriate binocular disparity that is based on the depth map.

The system can then generate a training dataset by iteratively executing a training-sample generation process. Each iteration can involve selecting multiple text samples from the set of text samples, combining the multiple text samples together into a training sample, determining a text category and a summary corresponding to a selected one of the multiple text samples, and including the text category and the summary in the training sample. After generating the training dataset, the system can use it to train a model. The trained model can then receive a target textual dataset and a target category as input, identify a portion of the target textual dataset corresponding to the target category, and generate a summarization of the portion of that target textual dataset.
