  • Publication number: 20060041635
Abstract: A system and corresponding methods for mapping a teleport URL to a destination URL are provided. In one embodiment, a system for redirecting a teleport URL includes a storage unit configured to store a plurality of teleport entries, where each of the teleport entries is capable of being identified by a plurality of attributes, and where each of the plurality of teleport entries has zero, one or more parameter directives. The system also includes a module coupled to the storage unit and operable to process a plurality of teleport URLs. The module is also operable to identify one of the plurality of teleport entries that is appropriate for processing a teleport URL, and utilizes the identified one of the plurality of teleport entries to generate a destination URL that corresponds to the teleport URL.

  • Publication number: 20050283867
Abstract: A new and distinct apricot Prunus armeniaca, cv. ‘Suaprinine’ that ripens early in the season and produces heavy, consistent crops in early districts of the California San Joaquin Valley. Fruit is large (averaging 58 mm), firm and develops a bright golden-orange color with red blush on exposed fruit. Flavor has been judged to be superior to other early-season apricots with approximately 14° brix that is well balanced by a slightly tart skin, a slight aroma, and moderate juice.

  • Patent number: 6972670
Abstract: A method of determining the configuration of locomotives in wired distributed trains. It includes determining consists of adjacent locomotives in the train. It determines one or more sub-consists of adjacent locomotives, which are controlled separately from a preceding adjacent locomotive within the consist. Locomotives which have an available wired distributed power controller is determined. A common consist indicator is assigned to all adjacent locomotives of a consist if the consist has at least one available wired distributed power controller. A common sub-consist indicator is assigned to all locomotives of a sub-consist if the consist has at least one available wired distributed power controller.

  • Publication number: 20050010980
Abstract: A new and distinct grapevine variety characterized by medium-sized round, green-yellowish seedless grapes with mild muscat flavor and a crisp texture. The new variety is a mid-season variety, ripening before any other muscat flavored, seedless grape cultivars grown in California. The grapes of the new variety have medium sugar content and excellent eating quality.

  • Patent number: 5593141
Abstract: A gate which hingedly fits closely between two spaced apart fence posts is provided. The gate has a hinge side member which extends directly adjacent a fence post. The hinge side member includes offset portions, each of which is displaced from the respective fence post by a gap. A hinge extends from the fence post across the gap of each offset portion to hingedly couple the gate to the fence post. The gate also has a latch side member which may be removably secured about another fence post. A sleeve having a gate latch coupled thereto is rotatably coupled about the latch member. The latch member has a slot extending therethrough and the sleeve has a notch extending therethrough. The sleeve may be rotated to a locking position on the latch side member where the notch is located over a portion at the slot. A rod extends inside of the latch side member. The rod has a cap end and a hooked end. The hooked end of the rod may be adjusted in the slot and notch by moving the cap end.

  • Patent number: 4758244
Abstract: Densified coal pellets of improved physical properties and enhanced calorific value are produced by a process which includes subjecting coal to a shearing-attritioning step followed by extrusion and drying steps, characterised by incorporating an additive into the coal that is subject to the said shearing-attritioning step, said additive being chosen from one or more of the group consisting of: alkali metal hydroxides, alkaline earth metal hydroxides, ammonium hydroxide, alkali metal carbonates, alkaline earth carbonates, oxides of base metals, oxides of transition metals, and small molecule carbonyl compounds.

  • Patent number: 4701184
Abstract: Process for treatment of brown coal which comprises subjecting the said coal to shearing forces to produce a plastic mass which is capable of conversion by subsequent compaction and drying into a fuel of increased density and enhanced calorific value, is characterized in that the water content of the coal is more than 54% and the shearing forces are applied for less than one hour, shorter times being preferred, for example less than 30 seconds. A preferred embodiment provides a continuous process in which the coal is treated in a machine that subjects it to sequential steps of shearing and extrusion in a continuous manner. The extruded product after drying provides the fuel of increased density and enhanced calorific value. The desired effect may also be obtained by treating part of a quantity of brown coal and blending the treated portion with the untreated remainder of the said quantity.
