  • Publication number: 20240103962
Abstract: Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing software-based network probes for monitoring network devices for fault management. In various embodiments, a computing system may receive, from at least one software-based network probe, a first alert associated with a first device among layer 4 devices disposed in a plurality of networks; may parse and store first alert data from the received first alert in a database, in a standardized format; may perform, using an enrichment system, enrichment of the first alert data, by retrieving first enrichment data from one or more second databases and adding the first enrichment data to the parsed and formatted first alert data in the first database to form first consolidated alert data; and may send the first consolidated alert data to a fault management system for display to a user to facilitate addressing of the first alert by the user.

  • Publication number: 20240093797
Abstract: A valve assembly with a spring retention assembly including an elongated cylinder portion having an open threaded end and a closed end and an elongated piston portion having a free end and a threaded tab end configured to thread through the open threaded end and, thereby, be slideably captured in the cylinder portion. A spring couples to the body portion and the piston portion to provide a force to urge the body portion and the piston away from one another, wherein the closed end and the free end are similarly shaped so that the spring retention assembly can be reversibly mounted to a valve member that can also be reversibly mounted.

  • Patent number: 11913868
Abstract: In one embodiment, a flow cytometer is disclosed having a compact light detection module. The compact light detection module includes an image array with a transparent block, a plurality of micro-mirrors in a row coupled to a first side of the transparent block, and a plurality of filters in a row coupled to a second side of the transparent block opposite the first side. Each of the plurality of filters reflects light to one of the plurality of micro-mirrors and passes light of a differing wavelength range and each of the plurality of micro-mirrors reflects light to one of the plurality of filters, such that incident light into the image array zigzags back and forth between consecutive filters of the plurality of filters and consecutive micro-mirrors of the plurality of micro-mirrors. A radius of curvature of each of the plurality of micro-mirrors images the fiber aperture onto the odd filters and collimates the light beam on the even filters.

  • Publication number: 20240045149
Abstract: A suspension arm assembly including at least two members relatively rotatable about each other at a joint, with at least one of the joints comprising an infinite rotation joint. The infinite rotation joint allows the members at the infinite rotation joint to have unlimited rotation relative to one another. The infinite rotation joint is configured to pass at least an optical signal therethrough. The infinite rotation joint includes a stator and a rotor. At least two portions of the infinite rotation joint are separable and can automatically form a unit when adjacent arms are connected together such that the infinite rotation joint can be separated into the at least two portions. The at least two portions are configured to be automatically connected to allow the optical signal to pass therethrough once the at least two portions are engaged.

  • Publication number: 20230090963
Abstract: In a liquid level monitor for use with a liquid container of a liquid-consuming device, a light source transmits a light beam into the liquid container at a non-normal angle of incidence respective to a wall of the liquid container. A photodetector is positioned in the path of one of (i) the light beam after passing through the liquid container when the light beam is not refracted by liquid in the liquid container and (ii) the light beam after passing through the liquid container when the light beam is refracted by liquid in the liquid container. In another approach, the sensor for detecting empty includes a vibrator and a vibration sensor, and an electronic processor is programmed to determine whether the liquid container is empty of liquid based on the detected vibration of the liquid container.
