These aspects include an image retrieval system using a convolutional neural network trained to identify how users draw semantic concepts and using an image search engine to search against images having a similar concept. The aspects include mapping between concepts of the user drawing space and concepts of the image space such that images associated with the same concept are identified. For each input user drawing, the drawing is first processed through a concept classifier to identify a corresponding concept, and then through a feature extractor to form a corresponding feature vector. The results from the concept classifier and the feature extractor may be combined to search against a collection of images having a similar concept to determine a listing of images ranked by visual and semantic similarity to the input.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the subject technology relate to systems, methods, and machine-readable media for authentic content search using style classifications. A system may be a search engine that uses a set of style classifiers to detect one or more styles associated with an image and a logistic regression model to determine a level of authenticity for the image based on the associated styles. Training images are fed to train a series of neural networks that output a set of style classifiers. An image is processed through the style classifiers to determine respective probabilities for each style classification. The results from the set of style classifiers are then input to the logistic regression model to determine an authenticity score for the image. For example, the authenticity score shows how authentic is an image (e.g., a score of 1.0 refers to 100% authenticity, whereas a score of 0.0 represents a non-authentic image).

The system then provides a prioritized listing of images that is responsive to the given search query based on the identified user interaction probabilities.

In one embodiment, the method may include performing regeneration in response to both pressure-based measurements as well as estimated soot loading independent of the pressure-based measurements, where during conditions in which the pressure-based measurements may be inaccurate, the soot load is estimated based on operating conditions and previous pressure-based measurements that occurred during previous conditions in which the pressure-based measurements are more accurate. In this way, more continuous monitoring of particulate filter loading is provided, while taking advantage of pressure-based measurements from the most recent accurate reading, for example, and operating conditions that have transpired since such reading, including transient conditions. Thus, more appropriately timed regeneration may be provided.
