  • Publication number: 20240142609
Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure are drawn to apparatuses, systems, and methods for radar object classification. A radar classification system may include a number of endpoint units and a base station. Each endpoint unit includes a camera and a radar. The camera may image a scene and the image may be used to establish spatial zones within the scene. The radar may collect point cloud data from one or more objects in the scene. A classifier may determine an identity of the object based on the point cloud data. The base station may collect information such as the identity and location of objects in the scene and relate this information to the spatial zones. For example, objects may be identified as a vehicle, pedestrian, or cycle, and related to zones such as roadway, sidewalk, and crosswalk for the purpose of traffic control.

  • Publication number: 20240115449
Abstract: An embodiment of a storage device for medical products includes a cabinet defining an enclosure having a plurality of compartments. In addition, the storage device includes a plurality of storage containers, each storage container configured to be inserted into a corresponding one of the plurality of compartments. Further, the storage device includes an actuation assembly including a plurality of arms that are configured to engage the plurality of storage containers so as to secure the plurality of storage containers in the plurality of compartments. Still further, the storage device includes a release mechanism that is configured to simultaneously actuate each of the plurality of arms to release the plurality of storage containers from the plurality of compartments.

  • Patent number: 11936329
Abstract: A mounting system for mounting a photovoltaic panel to a surface includes a mounting base that is supported on the surface. The mounting base defines an elongated opening that extends along an axis. A module mount can be coupled to the mounting base. The module mount includes a first mount portion that is received within the elongated opening of the mounting base such that the module mount is movable with respect to the mounting base along the axis. A second mount portion is coupled to the photovoltaic panel for mounting the photovoltaic panel to the surface through the mounting base.

  • Patent number: 4486452
Abstract: A method of manufacture of milk chocolate-coated toffee candy pieces by heating a mass of toffee to a softened temperature sufficient to permit portions of it to be pulled from the mass. Pulling strand portions from the mass in the form of fine strands while spooling the strands about a core forming area and causing the spooling to occur along the length and about the periphery of the core forming area to form a continuous length of the core at a core forming area. Contemporaneously axially moving the length of core along its axis off of an end of the core forming area. Then transversely severing an outer end of the axially moving length of core with consecutive cuts to form successive toffee pieces or toffee cores. Immersing the toffee cores in a bath of milk chocolate, and cooling the chocolate-covered cores to place them in condition for packaging.

  • Patent number: 4385882
Abstract: An apparatus for manufacture of milk chocolate-coated toffee candy pieces that comprises a toffee header with means connected to the header for heating a mass of toffee to a softened temperature sufficient to permit portions of it to be pulled from the mass. The header has spaced orifices for the toffee to exit as strands. A rotary toffee forming device is mounted beneath the orifices. Means is provided for reciprocating the header back and forth with the fine toffee strands being drawn from the orifices by the rotary movement of the rotary toffee forming device. Means is provided for transversely severing outer ends of the axially moving lengths of cores with consecutive cuts to form successive toffee pieces of toffee cores. A chocolate coating bath is provided for first immersing the bottoms of the toffee cores in a bath of milk chocolate and then for flooding chocolate over the tops of the cores to completely coat the cores.
