  • Patent number: 8768892
Abstract: Aspects of the subject matter described herein relate to analyzing data and providing recommendations regarding computing assets. In aspects, data is collected from computing assets and aggregated in a data repository. A data analyzer analyzes the data to determine problems associated with the computing assets. Work done to identify a problem with one computing asset may be used to identify problems with or provide recommendations for other computing assets controlled by the same or different entities. When a problem is identified in a computing asset, a recommendation may be proactively provided to an entity associated with the computing asset.

  • Patent number: 8305910
Abstract: Computer-readable code stored on computer-readable media includes code to allocate at least one data structure in computer memory. The at least one data structure has a plurality of message parameter fields, and each of the message parameter fields has a deterministic position within the at least one data structure. The computer-readable code also includes code to navigate to different ones of the message parameter fields by interpreting non-compiled instructions. The instructions have a form that specifies a position of a particular message parameter field within the at least one data structure, and a number of bits in the particular message parameter field. The position of the particular message parameter field is specified in terms of a number of data offsets in the at least one data structure. The computer-readable code also includes code to configure a communications test-set following navigation to at least one of the message parameter fields.

  • Publication number: 20040082297
Abstract: Accelerated test of wireless devices. During normal device operation, protocol-specified delays in acknowledging received messages have the effect of reducing channel congestion, for example by piggybacking acknowledgements. When operating in a test environment, these protocol-specified delays are reduced or eliminated, thus reducing test time and increasing tester throughput. A first embodiment reduces or eliminates these protocol-specified delays in the tester. A second embodiment reduces or eliminates these protocol-specified delays in both the tester and the device under test.
