  • Patent number: 12270412
Abstract: A blower comprising a blower housing, a blower wheel, and a motor. The blower wheel is within the blower housing and has a plurality of blades. The motor is operatively connected to the blower wheel to rotate the blower wheel about an axis of rotation. The blower housing comprises a wall perpendicular to the axis of rotation. The wall has a static tap hole having a leading edge and a trailing edge. The static tap hole is positioned near an axial side of the blower wheel such that as the blower wheel rotates, any of the blades of the blower wheel passes the leading edge of the static tap hole before passing the trailing edge of the static tap hole. The wall comprises a protrusion protruding axially from the wall and toward the blower wheel. The protrusion is located adjacent the trailing edge of the static tap hole.

  • Patent number: 11828705
Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and systems for detecting a sample are disclosed. One method includes generating, by a tunable light source, a beam of electro-magnetic radiation, wherein a wavelength of the beam of electro-magnetic radiation is tuned to operate at a plurality of wavelengths. At least a portion of the beam of electro-magnetic radiation is directed to pass through the sample and a reference substance. The system detector is configured to sense at least the portion of the beam of electro-magnetic radiation after passing through the sample and the reference substance. The processor operates to receive information related to intensity or amplitude of the sensed beam of electro-magnetic radiation after passing through the sample and the reference substance and detect an amount of the sample based on the received information related to the intensity or amplitude of the sensed beam of the electro-magnetic radiation.

  • Publication number: 20230271930
Abstract: Processes are described for obtaining highly purified tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCa) from Cannabis. Solvent extraction is performed on plant material or extract, followed by removal of impurities using sequential liquid-liquid extractions to purify cannabinoid carboxylic acids therefrom based on chemical properties of carboxylate salts. The product liquor, comprising THCa in solvent, is largely free of impurities, and high in THCa. Further steps can be conducted to obtain a highly enriched solution using chromatography and subsequent crystallization of THCa in 99% purity. THCa can be used as starting material for other products that include THC by decarboxylation. Optionally, triglyceride extraction of a washed aqueous phase can be used to prepare a THCa composition without chromatographic purification. A pre-processing aqueous extraction with pH manipulations may be used to remove biomass prior to solvent extraction, while maintaining THCa and optionally other cannabinoid acids.

  • Patent number: 10976248
Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and systems for detecting a substance are disclosed. One system includes a light source, an optical cavity, a cavity detector, and a processor. The light source generates a beam of electro-magnetic radiation, wherein a wavelength of the beam of electro-magnetic radiation is tuned to operate at multiple wavelengths. The optical cavity receives the beam of electro-magnetic radiation, wherein the physical characteristics of the cavity define a plurality of allowed axial-plus-transverse electro-magnetic radiation modes, wherein only a subset of the allowed axial-plus-transverse electro-magnetic radiation modes are excited when the optical cavity receives the beam of electro-magnetic radiation. The cavity detector senses electro-magnetic radiation emanating from the optical cavity.
