Patent number: 11995609Abstract: In one embodiment, a processing device receives a first digital fingerprint of a media item along with a first content management rule. The processing device separately receives a second digital fingerprint of the media item along with a second content management rule. The processing device determines that the received digital fingerprints are for the same media item based upon a match between the first digital fingerprint and the second digital fingerprint. The processing device determines that all rights to the media item have been accounted for, and then determines a set of actions to be performed for hosted media items comprising the media item based at least in part upon the first content management rule and the second content management rule. Processing logic may also perform a conflict resolution process for conflicting rights claims to the media item.Type: GrantFiled: November 9, 2022Date of Patent: May 28, 2024Assignee: Audible Magic CorporationInventors: Vance Ikezoye, David Price Williams, Michael Thomas Edwards, Stephen John Grillos, John R. Patent number: 11315669Abstract: A system receives patient information from a patient computing device and/or a user computing device via a first network connection. The system further receives clinic notes from a clinic computing system for the generation of an electronic medical report based on a personal injury of the patient via a second network connection. Instead of statically generating a report, the system generates the electronic medical report by obtaining medical reporting standards and identifying rules and/or frameworks that satisfy the medical reporting standards. Further, the system dynamically maps the rules to the frameworks in order to plan the electronic medical report. The system can dynamically build the electronic medical report based on the rules, the frameworks, the patient information, and the clinic notes. After generating the electronic medical report, the system causes display of the electronic medical report via a display of the user computing device.Type: GrantFiled: December 1, 2021Date of Patent: April 26, 2022Assignee: MARYLAND HEALTHCARE CLINICS, LLCInventors: Semyon David Friedman, Julia Friedman-Peremel, Roman Balakirsky

Patent number: 10380021Abstract: No-loss rapid recovery performs resynchronization efficiently while concurrently allowing availability to mirrored data on the storage device. No-loss rapid recovery has two stages and involves storage devices that have both a non-volatile cache and primary storage and that operate as mirror buddies. The first stage is referred to herein as the buddy-retention stage. During the buddy-retention stage, writes to mirrored data are not performed on the offline mirror buddy but are performed on the online mirror buddy. The mirrored data changed in the online mirrored buddy is retained in the non-volatile cache of the retention buddy. The next stage is referred to herein as the rapid resynchronization stage. In this stage, the changed mirrored data retained by the retention buddy for no-loss rapid recovery is used to resynchronize the offline buddy. The storage device is resynchronized using the changed mirrored data retained in the cache of the mirror buddy.Type: GrantFiled: March 13, 2013Date of Patent: August 13, 2019Assignee: Oracle International CorporationInventors: Juan R. Patent number: 9578468Abstract: This document describes tools capable of enabling users of mobile communication devices to create communication groups quickly and easily. With such a communication group a user may call, text, or instant message all persons in the group at once by selecting the communication group rather than each person in the group. In one embodiment, the tools enable a user to build a communication group by dragging and dropping indicators for persons he or she knows from one area of a screen into another area. In another embodiment, the tools automatically collect persons from those that the user knows based on one or more criteria. The user may then easily create a communication group of those collected persons, such as by tapping on an area of a mobile device's display.Type: GrantFiled: January 21, 2014Date of Patent: February 21, 2017Assignee: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Darren Alexander Apfel, Jonathan David Friedman, Keith Lindsey Rowe, Rosanna H.
