Abstract: The present disclosure describes a digital asset management system directed to a portable container, decentralized, and distributed database approach to asset management. The digital asset management system described is also directed to a system that is designed to be format-neutral and compatible with any file formats available in the art. In an implementation, the digital asset management system includes an importer module configured to import one or more files for storage in a storage volume. A metadata module creates metadata for the imported files and attaches the metadata to the imported files. A distributor module configured to direct the one or more files to a container included in the storage volume. The digital asset management system also includes an editor module configured to create a compressed proxy version of an original source file of at least one of the files for proxy editing.

Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing topically applied viscous fluids from a container is provided. The dispenser includes a cap arranged on the container and having a dispensing orifice therein. The dispensing orifice includes a center portion and at least three legs which radiate outward from the center portion such that viscous fluid dispensed from the container has an upper surface with a plurality of ridges formed therein. A lid is also provided. The lid has a projection arranged thereon. The projection on the lid having a configuration that is complementary to the dispensing orifice and being arranged on the lid such that the projection extends into the dispensing orifice when the lid is in the closed position.

Abstract: A system that relates annotations captured at an event and continuous signal recordings, such as video recordings, of the event in such as way that once the recordings and annotations are distributed to a remote site, an operator does not have to manually identify the time intervals of individual segments that are identified in the annotations. Prior to distribution to the remote sites, the annotations that are collected for the event are processed to identify a series of time segments, including a time interval of the signal recordings. The time reference for these identified time intervals is based on the signal recordings themselves, for example, being relative to a time reference marks that are introduced into the video recordings before they are distributed to the remote site, or being based on an recorded time signal.

Abstract: A method of packaging a rectangular electrolytic battery, comprising the steps of forming a sleeve from a flat, rectangular sheet of a laminate material by overlapping and joining opposite edges of the sheet; inserting a rectangular battery into one end of the sleeve, the battery having two electronic contacting leads extending from one side thereof and the battery being positioned within the sleeve wherein a portion of the leads is within the sleeve and a portion of the leads is outside said sleeve; joining the ends of the sleeve to form a seal along each end thereof, hermetically sealing the interior of the sleeve, one end of the sleeve forming a seal about the leads and the other end of the sleeve sealed adjacent the battery.

Abstract: A method of securing a metal lead of a polymer battery to a flexible circuit, comprising the steps of positioning a metal lead of a polymer electrolyte battery onto a connection pad of a circuit; clamping the metal lead and the connection pad between two weld fixtures of an ultrasonic welder; compressing the metal lead and connection pad between the two weld fixtures to establish a pressure of about 44.9 psi to about 30.8 psi; and vibrating the weld fixtures at a frequency of about 20 kHz for about 0.1 seconds to about 2.0 seconds.

Abstract: Moisturizing compositions for application to human skin which contain oxyethylene functional organosilanes. When used in skin care applications, these compounds exhibit humectant properties. The oxyethylene functional organosilane is a compound having the formula RSiR'.sub.3 in which R is the radical --O(CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 O).sub.x R"; R' is an R group or an alkyl radical having one to six carbon atoms; R" is a radical such as hydrogen; an alkyl group of one to six carbon atoms; and an aryl group; and x is an integer having a value of six to thirty.

Abstract: A water-in-oil emulsion and a method of making the emulsion in which the emulsion includes 5 to 50 percent by weight of an organic oil; 44 to 94.5 percent by weight of water; and 0.5 to 5 percent by weight of a water dispersible silicone wax. The emulsion is free of organic emulsifying agents. The water dispersible silicone is a wax derived from the reaction of (i) an .ident.SiH containing siloxane; (ii) a linear C30+ organic alpha-olefin; and (iii) an unsaturated ethylene oxide polymer. Emulsions having a viscosity in about 150,000 centistokes to about 200,000 centistokes are described.
