Abstract: Gastrostomy tubes and systems and methods for implanting them are provided. In one example, the gastrostomy tube includes an elongate tubular member including a first end sized for introduction into the patient's mouth, a second end including an expandable member or other bumper, and a feeding lumen extending between the first and second ends. A bolster is connectable around the first end after the first end has been directed from within the patient's stomach through intervening tissue and extends from the patient's skin and the bumper is placed against the wall of the stomach. An adapter is connectable to the bolster after the first end and excess material of the tubular member beyond the bolster has been separated, the adapter including a connector for removably connecting to a feeding tube.

One or more interactive compensation representation views are generated based on an evaluation of mapping rules against a flexible ontology and current data state, the flexible ontology comprising customizable compensation components, relationships, and properties. One or more compensation representation views are dynamically updated in real-time in response to changes in compensation data, user context, or access permissions without requiring manual regeneration of the one or more compensation representations. The one or more interactive compensation representation views include a user interface element displayed in response to a user selection of compensation data, wherein the user interface element provides direct access to compensation information relevant to the selected compensation data without requiring a change to another screen or another user context.

Abstract: A method of generating customizable goal representation is disclosed. A request from a user to view a goal representation is received. A flexible goal ontology is accessed that comprises one or more goal entities, one or more goal relationships between the goal entities, or one or more goal properties, the one or more goal properties including one or more metadata attributes relating to the one or more goal entities. A set of mapping rules is obtained that defines mappings between one or more goals. The set of mapping rules is evaluated to assemble a customized goal representation tailored to the user. The customized goal representation is updated based on a revaluation of the mapping rules affected by changes to the one or more goal entities, the one or more goal relationships, or the one or more properties.

Abstract: A surgical saw system including a saw, a blade cartridge and an attachment. The saw including a housing and a reciprocating shaft. The blade cartridge that may be removably coupled to the saw includes a bar and a rack. The bar includes a first holding feature. The rack is moveably disposed within the bar, and is configured to removably couple to the reciprocating shaft of the saw. The attachment is disposed between and connecting the bar of the blade cartridge to the saw. The attachment may include a coupling feature in selective releasable engagement with the first holding feature of the bar to hold the bar static relative to the saw. The blade cartridge may also include a drive link that extends from reciprocating shaft of the saw and the rack for imparting the reciprocal motion of the reciprocating shaft to the rack.

Abstract: Processes and systems for lessening human spread of coronaviruses can include use of a disinfectants and/or rinses that utilize contact times of up to 2 minutes or less than 2 minutes and also more than 20 seconds. Some embodiments can include gargling a rinse having at least one disinfectant as an active ingredient for up to 2 minutes or for a time period of less than 2 minutes. Other embodiments can include performing a naso-rinse for up to 2 minutes or a time period of less than 2 minutes and also more than 20 seconds with rinse fluid having at least one disinfectant.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for safely and effectively deploying a hemoclip onto a patient's desired target using a hemoclip system. For instance, disclosed is an catheter that includes a lumen for a hemoclip to pass through. Additionally, disclosed are hemoclips that are configured to be in a compressed position until the hemoclip is deployed out of a catheter where it opens. Then, the hemoclip may be clipped onto the target to encapsulate the desired target within the patient. Once the hemoclip is clamped onto the target, the catheter can move onto the next target for successive deployment and utilization of the hemoclips without manual reload.

Abstract: A system and method for playing an interactive song lyric guessing game is provided. Some aspects present a player with a scrambled word cloud of lyrics and asks the player to select the correct name of the artist or song from a list of possible answers. Advertising and other commercially useful information are presented to the user and collected from the user in the course of playing the game. For example, the player of the game may be directed to an online store where songs can be purchased or downloaded.
