  • Publication number: 20220340819
Abstract: A plastic catalytic pyrolysis process that can produce high yields of ethylene, propylene and other light olefins from waste plastics is disclosed. The catalytic product stream is quenched to below catalytic pyrolysis temperature quickly after exiting the reactor or bulk separation from the catalyst. Quench preserves selectivity of light olefinic monomers. The catalytic pyrolysis process can be operated in a single stage or a two-stage process.

  • Publication number: 20220298674
Abstract: A fabric delivers active ingredients to a surface when the fabric includes a moist-vapor porous combination of fabric materials, and the fabric comprises at least 0.5% by total weight of at least one layer of the fabric of a superabsorbent polymer fiber. The superabsorbent polymer fiber contains an absorbed aqueous reservoir of an aqueous solution carrying the active ingredients. The superabsorbent fiber has a coating on its surface of an aqueous penetrable layer through which a liquid in the absorbed aqueous reservoir can migrate or flow, carrying the active ingredients onto an exposed surface of the superabsorbent polymer fiber, so that the active ingredients on the surface of the superabsorbent polymer can react or interact with an environment in contact with the active ingredients on the superabsorbent polymer fiber surface.

  • Publication number: 20220195140
Abstract: A plastic catalytic pyrolysis process that can produce high yields of ethylene, propylene and other light olefins from waste plastics is disclosed. The plastic feed is catalytically pyrolyzed at high silica-to-alumina ratios and elevated temperature to produce high ratios of gas to liquid which results in high light olefin monomer selectivity. The catalytic pyrolysis process can be operated in a single stage or a two-stage process.

  • Publication number: 20220136285
Abstract: An electronic lock for securing a door or access panel. The electronic lock includes a housing and a plunger that is moveably mounted to the housing between a latched position of the electronic lock and an unlatched position of the electronic lock. A rotator is rotatably mounted to the housing between an unlocked position and a locked position. In the locked position of the rotator, the plunger is prevented from moving to the unlatched position, and, in the unlocked position of the rotator, the plunger is permitted to move to the unlatched position. A motor has an output shaft that is configured to rotate the rotator between the locked position and the unlocked position. A spring is configured to resist movement of the output shaft between the locked position and the unlocked position.

  • Publication number: 20210140204
Abstract: A vehicle glove box latch includes a housing, a paddle pivotably connected to the housing, a rotor pivotably connected to the housing, a pawl coupled to the rotor and having an end that is engaged with an opening in the vehicle, and a lock barrel mounted to the housing for locking and unlocking the vehicle glove box latch. In a locked state of the lock barrel, the pawl cannot be disengaged from the opening in the vehicle. In an unlocked state of the lock barrel, the pawl can be disengaged from the opening for opening the vehicle glove box. The lock barrel, the rotor and the rotor mounting portion are concentrically aligned along an axis, which reduces the depth of the latch, which reduces the space in the glove box necessary for accommodating the latch, thereby resulting in an increase in the available storage space in the glove box.

  • Patent number: 10979413
Abstract: An MR code is generated within a browser on a client device and is read by a mobile application on a mobile device. A communication channel is then established through a web-based service, between the browser and the mobile application on the mobile device. The mobile application generates a user interface display on the mobile device that allows user selection of content. The mobile application sends a link to that content to the browser, which accesses and renders the content on the client device. User input commands to control the rendered content are also received at the mobile device and sent to the browser through the communication channel.

  • Patent number: 10928418
Abstract: A scanning probe microscope with a first actuator (3) configured to move a feature in the form of a tip (2) so that the feature follows a scanning motion. A vision system (10) is configured to collect light from a field of view to generate image data. The field of view includes the feature and the light from the field of view travels from the feature to the vision system via the steering element (13). A tracking control system (15)bis configured to generate one or more tracking drive signals in accordance with stored reference data. A second actuator (14) is configured to receive the one or more tracking drive signals and move the steering element on the basis of the one or more tracking drive signals so that the field of view follows a tracking motion which is synchronous with the scanning motion and the feature remains within the field of view.

  • Publication number: 20200271676
Abstract: A sample tube includes a barcode split into components at the bottom of the sample tube. Each barcode component stores less than the full data output from the barcode, but the components combine to full data output. Redundant diagonal components provide for error checking. A center region between the barcode components supports an electrical circuit or an optical or acoustic window. The sample tube may have a sidewall with a substantially cylindrical open end and non-cylindrical end closed with a bottom, the non-cylindrical end orienting the sample tube in a rack. Additional non-cylindrical surfaces are provided to orient the sample tube relative to complementary surfaces at a gripper. The sample tube of a particular application is positioned in an acoustic dispensing system where acoustic waves are transmitted through a center window for surveying and dispensing.
