    Abstract: A fishing pole is provided wherein the handle is defined as a scale, with a hook projecting coaxially and exteriorly of the handle at a rear terminal end thereof for mounting and weighing of a fish thereon. A further embodiment of the invention for use in bait casting organizations mounts a scale in parallel contiguous relationship relative to the handle, with the hook directed orthogonally relative to the housing of the scale for weighing of fish subsequent to their catching.
