  • Patent number: 7584136
Abstract: A system and method for dynamically marketing cattle is provided comprising a buyer interface, a producer interface, a network, and an cattle information server. The cattle information server receives information from the buyer interface defining a plurality of demand profiles at least one which contains information specifying a first pre-conditioning program. The cattle information server also receives information from the producer interface defining a supply profile that specifies a second pre-conditioning program and stores the demand profiles and supply profile in a database. The cattle information server searches the database to determine if one or more of the demand profiles match the supply profile based at least in part on a comparison of the first and second pre-conditioning programs and identifies at least one demand profile in response to a match between the supply profile and the demand profile.

  • Publication number: 20070082478
Abstract: Emulsion compositions containing a silicone polymer and organic polymer as an alloy and/or hybrid emulsion can be made by (i) first forming an emulsion containing a silicone polymer by emulsion polymerization in which (a) the ring of a cyclic siloxane oligomer is opened, in which (b)an hydroxy endblocked siloxane oligomer is condensed, using an acid or base catalyst in the presence of water, or in which (c) an hydrogen endblocked siloxane oligomer and a vinyl endblocked siloxane oligomer are reacted by hydrosilylation using a catalyst; (ii) adding to the emulsion in (i) the components for preparing an emulsion containing an organic polymer by free radical emulsion polymerization of an ethylenically unsaturated organic monomer, and (iii) heating the emulsion. The resulting coalesced compositions produce polymer blends or alloys whose properties are influenced by the composition and morphology of the hybrid emulsion particles.

  • Publication number: 20060248008
Abstract: A method of evaluating a benefit plan where a user selects the benefits from a present plan, provides detailed information on the selected benefits, compares the detailed information with the pre-existing information, and generates a report based on the comparison.

  • Patent number: 6850617
Abstract: A telephone receiver circuit with sidetone signal generation controlled by voice activity detection in accordance with the present invention uses the voice activity detector (VAD) to detect the presence of voice activity within the microphone signal and dynamically adjust the sidetone signal generation to compensate for noisy environments by eliminating or reducing the sidetone signal in the absence of voice activity. Hence, a sidetone signal is generated in the presence of voice activity, when feedback is required, while the sidetone signal is not generated in the absence of voice activity, since audio feedback for the user is not required then.

  • Patent number: 5738954
Abstract: A battery continuation apparatus (104) contains an electrochemical cell (1039) and a bypass mechanism (1100). When attached to an electronic device (100), the bypass mechanism (1100) selectively connects the one electrochemical cell (1039) to power the electronic device (100) or selectively bypasses the electrochemical cell (1039) when a battery pack (102) or an additional battery continuation apparatus (2001) having a second source of power is coupled to the battery continuation apparatus (104).
