Abstract: According to various examples, a surround view can be used as a visual search query for an object to be searched and this surround view can be compared to a database of three dimensional models. A determination can then be made about whether any of the three dimensional models match the visual search query. Based on how closely the three dimensional models match the visual search query, matching objects can be provided in various formats such as ranked lists.

Abstract: Various examples of the present disclosure include techniques and mechanisms for generating a surround view. According to various examples, a surround view is constructed from multiple images that are captured from different locations. A computer processor is used to create a three dimensional model that includes the content and context of the surround view. In some examples, the content and context can be segmented such that separate three dimensional models can be provided for each of the content of the surround view and the context of the surround view.

Abstract: Rotational intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) imaging devices, systems, and methods are provided. The present disclosure is particularly directed to rotary transformers incorporating flex circuits that are suitable for use in rotational IVUS systems. In one embodiment, a rotary transformer for a rotational IVUS device includes: a rotational component and a stationary component. At least one of the rotational and stationary components includes a core formed of a magnetically conductive material and a flex circuit coupled to the core. In some instances, the flex circuit is coupled to the core such that a coil portion of the flex circuit is received within a recess of the core and an extension of the flex circuit extending from the coil portion extends through an opening of the core.

An example method includes dividing, with a processor, an image of a geographic area of interest into a plurality of geographical zones, the geographical zones being representative of different geographical areas having approximately equal physical areas, measuring, with the processor, a geographical feature represented in the image for corresponding ones of the plurality of geographical zones, storing descriptions for the geographical zones in a computer memory, and storing values representative of the geographical feature of the geographical zones.

Abstract: A data network includes a plurality of end systems; a plurality of line data buses connected to the end systems; and a plurality of switches connected to the line data buses and to other switches via trunk data buses to define a star topology. The switches and end systems are configured to operate asynchronously. Each switch includes a number of packet schedulers for managing the transmission of received data flow. A number of effective line rate utilization mechanisms are each associated with a respective packet scheduler for providing the service rate of that packet scheduler. Switch egress ports transmit the received data flow. Each switch egress port has a defined configured effective transmission rate. Each effective line rate utilization mechanism reduces the utilization rate to the defined configured effective transmission rate.

Abstract: A ‘per flow’ flow monitor is operatively associated with each ingress port of the switch of the data network, for monitoring the arrival data flow on each flow in defined traffic constraint envelopes containing frames. An eligibility time computation mechanism computes an eligibility time at which arriving frames on each flow will be conformant to the defined traffic envelope to the ingress port given past frame arrivals on that same flow. A holding mechanism holds the arriving frames on each flow until the eligibility time is reached. A release mechanism releases the arriving frames on a flow at the eligibility time. The flow monitor, computation mechanism, holding mechanism, and release mechanism cooperate to provide an ‘per flow’ traffic shaping function in conformance with delay and delay-jitter bound, frame loss probability, and bandwidth provisioning requirements, thus allowing the switch to enforce the traffic constraint envelope for each flow.

Abstract: In one aspect, the disclosure describes an apparatus that harvests crops as the apparatus moves in a direction of travel across a field. The apparatus includes a crop harvesting assembly configured as a line of implements, the line being transverse to the direction of travel. First and second devices for adjusting a vertical position of left and right sides of the apparatus, respectively, are independently operable. Adjustment of a vertical position of at least one of the left and right sides of the apparatus results in tilting the line of implements relative to a horizontal plane defined at a ground surface under left and right ground contacting elements. In other aspects, a method and system are disclosed for automatically positioning a line of implements of an apparatus to follow a ground surface proximate the line of implements.
