  • Patent number: 11933510
Abstract: This application relates to a building energy analysis and management system for measurement and verification of building performance. The system can analyze, optimize, manage, maintain, trouble shoot, and/or modify building systems, such as HVAC systems, in connection with the building energy usage. Measurements may be gathered for one or more HVAC units coupled to pressure independent valves, and sent to one or more Surge Panels that pass data to remote analysis servers, which can receive other system or external data. The analysis servers compare measurements to predicted values and can standardize the predicted values to account for external conditions. The comparison can result in difference values used to generate probable causes and optimization recommendations. The system outputs reports or other data display using a graphical user interface that can be adjusted for an anticipated user.

  • Publication number: 20240086542
Abstract: In various examples there is a computing device comprising: a first microcontroller comprising a first immutable bootloader and first mutable firmware. The first immutable bootloader uses a unique device secret burnt into hardware of the computing device in order to generate an attestation of the first mutable firmware. The computing device has a second microcontroller. There is second mutable firmware at the second microcontroller. There is a second immutable bootloader at the second microcontroller which sends a measurement of the second mutable firmware to the first immutable bootloader whenever the second microcontroller restarts, such that the first microcontroller is able to include the measurement in the attestation.

  • Publication number: 20230381053
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure include a walker equipped with one or more sensors, an onboard controller, powered wheels and associated motor controllers. The walker can sense its distance from the user and activate the powered wheels when commanded by the controller. The controller can execute programming including an automatic feedback control algorithm that regulates the distance between the walker frame and the user. In this manner, the walker automatically follows the user, keeping the user from having to expend energy to pull the walker along. The walker can then be utilized by the user solely for balance and support.

  • Publication number: 20230259594
Abstract: Disclosed are systems, apparatuses, processes, and computer-readable media to implement a heterogenous biometric authentication process in a control system. For example, a method may include detecting the presence of a first person at a first time period and in an area associated with a function controlled by a control system. The method may include transmitting an authentication request to a first device detected by the control system, and receiving an authentication response from the first device. The authentication response includes information related to a biometric authentication performed at the first device. The method may further include authenticating the first person in the control system based on the information related to the biometric authentication. The method may then perform the function based on the authentication.

  • Publication number: 20230173007
Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel natural extraction method for cannabinoid without using any additives, alcohol, or butane. The method is configured to extract sap from the cannabis via high-pressure, heated water rather than butane or alcohol. More specifically, natural ingredients such as calcium, magnesium, organic citrus, and mint are used and mixed together with cannabis strain in a coffee filter or cheese cloth filter for heating in water. The water, having the ingredients positioned and packaged similar to a tea bag therein, is either boiled for two hours in a crockpot or for seven minutes in a pressure cooker for providing sap and bud of cannabis. In some embodiments, the cannabis strain is dried and grinded before mixing with other ingredients. The method offers a way to extract cannabinoids swiftly and easily for making cannabis edibles.

  • Patent number: 11624594
Abstract: A system, device and method provide a glide kit that can attach to a conventional mortar round to create a glide-enabled round. The glide-enabled round can fit within a mortar tube. When the munition exits the mortar tube, it sequentially deploys wings and canards to initiate the glide maneuver and increase the mortar range. A state estimator subsystem can be employed with a canard control subsystem to actively guide the mortar to a fixed location. The combination of the estimator and canard control subsystems improves the tracking precision of the mortar round.
