Publication number: 20250114531Abstract: A syringe containing a high water content product and for use in a drug infusion system is provided. The syringe includes a plunger carrying front and rear o-rings made of a diene rubber compound such as chlorobutyl rubber or bromobutyl rubber to impart very low gas permeability characteristics to the o-rings. The plunger may be molded as a single part or in two parts. If molded as one part with radially-engaging mold portions, the seal glands in the plunger may include parting lines from the mold. If molded as two parts with axially-engaging mold portions, the front seal gland may include a sealing surface and under cut that has no parting line. The o-rings may be surface treated with a lubricant to improve sealing where the molding process gives rise to parting lines in the seal glands, which can result in leak paths on the ID of the o-rings. The o-rings provide a gas-tight sliding seal that can withstand temperature changes from ?25° C. to 40° C.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 10, 2024Publication date: April 10, 2025Inventors: Martin J. Publication number: 20240032943Abstract: A vascular bleeding control device that is used in managing bleeding at a puncture site, for example, after a surgical procedure when a large needle is required. The device has a resilient lever that extends away from a frame. The resilient lever extends away from the frame and resists pressure applied towards the frame. A pad on an outward face of the resilient lever contacts the puncture site and assists in managing bleeding until the blood vessel is sufficiently healed. The pad is manufactured of a hemostatic material that assists in decreasing healing time and can be easily removed from the puncture site without reopening the wound.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 28, 2021Publication date: February 1, 2024Inventors: Matthew B. DOWLING, David A. PARROTT, Justin MCCARTHY, Jesse DRAKE

Each pillow also has a valve providing fluid communication with the chamber for inflating and deflating the chamber. The first edge of one pillow is connect to a second edge of another pillow to form a continuous web. The pillows may form a continuous web and be dispensed from a device. Separation of the pillows one from another is enabled by perforations between edges of the pillows forming the web or tearing or cutting between edges of the pillows forming the web.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 25, 2022Publication date: April 27, 2023Inventors: Suzanne M. Patent number: 10752427Abstract: The actuator includes a shroud adapted to be situated on an aerosol container over the stem and an actuation member mounted on and moveable within the shroud to depress the stem by the application of an external force applied to the top surface of the actuation member. The actuation member includes a nozzle and a conduit for connecting the stem and the nozzle. A hood is normally positioned to block the actuation member from being moved to depress the stem. A locking member normally intersects the path of movement of the hood to lock the hood in its blocking position. The locking member has two sections both of which must be simultaneously moved to a position remote from the path of hood movement such that the hood may be moved from its blocking position, allowing the actuation member to be moved to depress the stem.Type: GrantFiled: December 21, 2018Date of Patent: August 25, 2020Assignee: WD-40 COMPANYInventors: Michael J.
