  • Patent number: 6612077
Abstract: A display board which comprises a thin panel member adapted to be supported on an office wall partition to closely overlie a cover of a partition. The display board is preferably coupled to an internal frame of the partition by a mounting bracket which extends laterally inwardly over the top of a cover into engagement with the internal frame. With an inner surface of the display board lying on an outerface of the cover coupling to the framework to merely provide for support against vertical downward movement of the display board can be sufficient. Mounting separate brackets which extend from the framework outwardly above a cover are advantageously provided for ease of connection.

  • Patent number: 5595439
Abstract: A lampholder for decorative strings of lights comprises at least two clips, one of which is radially oriented, the other of which is axially oriented, the axially oriented clip being formed as an extension of the radially oriented clip. Preferably a second axially oriented clip is provided in diametrically and axially opposed relationship to the first axial clip. The clips permit the lampholders to be secured to widely different types of supports that may be adventitiously found in a dwelling structure or that may be easily provided and attached thereto, and in different orientations, thereby facilitating the decoration of the dwelling. Suitably and preferably the clips are integrally molded with the body of the lampholder.

  • Patent number: 5581956
Abstract: An arrangement for mounting decorative lights on a variety of external building structures, including roof shingles, soffits, vinyl or metal gutters or the like, includes a mounting member having a support portion including at least one substantially cylindrical confining portion for receiving a portion of the respective decorative light. The mounting member further includes a mounting portion including a central portion extending substantially along the same plane as the support portion, and a pair of angled lateral portions flanking the central portion and extending out of the plane and back to it as considered in a direction away from the support portion. The central portion and the pair of lateral portions are operative for engaging oppositely facing surfaces of the respective building structure to at least frictionally detain the mounting member and, thus, the decorative light in place on the building structure.

  • Patent number: 5541818
Abstract: An arrangement for mounting a miniature light on a tree branch includes a mounting member that has a first end portion forming a first channel for receiving a portion of the miniature light, and a bifurcated second end portion forming a recess for receiving a portion of a respective branch that is situated at the location at which the miniature light is to be placed. The recess has at least two portions respectively bounded by at least two substantially circularly cylindrical surfaces of different diameter. The recess portions open into one another at respective cusps separating the recess portions from one another. The cylindrical surface diameters decrease from one of the recess portions to another in a direction toward the one end portion and are so chosen as to enable the respective recess portions to individually accommodate and frictionally engage the branch portion having thicknesses within a wide range.
