  • Publication number: 20250028995
Abstract: Disclosed implementations relate to adding “bottleneck” models to machine learning pipelines that already apply domain models to translate and/or transfer representations of high-level semantic concepts between domains. In various implementations, an initial representation in a first domain of a transition from an initial state of an environment to a goal state of the environment may be processed based on a pre-trained first domain encoder to generate a first embedding that semantically represents the transition. The first embedding may be processed based on one or more bottleneck models to generate a second embedding with fewer dimensions than the first embedding. In various implementations, the second embedding may be processed in various ways to train one or more of the bottleneck model(s) based on various different auxiliary loss functions.

  • Patent number: 12164881
Abstract: An apparatus comprises floating-point processing circuitry to perform a floating-point operation with rounding to generate a floating-point result value; and tininess detection circuitry to detect a tininess status indicating whether an outcome of the floating-point operation is tiny. A tiny outcome corresponds to a non-zero number with a magnitude smaller than a minimum non-zero magnitude representable as a normal floating-point number in a floating-point format to be used for the floating-point result value. The tininess detection circuitry comprises hardware circuit logic configured to support both before rounding tininess detection and after rounding tininess detection for detecting the tininess status.

  • Publication number: 20240370805
Abstract: A method is presented for graphically displaying aviation emissions information. The method comprises receiving a global database comprising flight parameters for a plurality of flights over a time period, the flight parameters including at least aviation emissions information for each of the plurality of flights. Aspects of the aviation emissions information are graphically displayed on a display device based on a default model. One or more modeling strategies for reducing aviation emissions over time are presented on the display device via a graphic user interface (GUI). User input indicating input values for one or more strategic parameters of the one or more modeling strategies is received via the GUI. The strategic parameters are applied to the global database to generate modeled emissions information. The graphical display of aspects of the aviation emissions information is adjusted based on the modeled emissions information.

  • Patent number: 11924108
Abstract: In one embodiment, an offload platform is an compute platform, adjunct to a router or other packet switching device, that performs packet processing operations including determining an egress forwarding value corresponding to the next-hop node of the packet switching device to which to send an offload-platform processed packet. The offload platform downloads forwarding information from the router, and augments it, such as, but not limited to, representing interfaces of the router as identifiable virtual interface(s) on the offload platform, and including each of one or more next-hop nodes of the router represented as an identifiable virtual adjacency and identifiable tunnel (e.g., identified by the egress forwarding value). In one embodiment, the egress forwarding value is an Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) label or Segment Routing Identifier. The router identifies packets of certain packet flows to send to the adjunct offload platform, rather than processing per its routing information base.

  • Publication number: 20230348261
Abstract: A method and apparatus to improve the performance of acoustic beamformers composed of accelerometer-based Acoustic Vector Sensors (AVS) is disclosed. Most AVS are composed of a set of spatially separated microphones, for which tradeoffs exist based on the array size and number of elements, geometry, frequency bandwidth, and system cost. Accelerometer-based AVS are composed of a one or more triaxial accelerometers, each paired with a collocated MEMS microphone. This results in much smaller array apertures for equivalent performance, and a significant reduction in unwanted sidelobes.
