    Abstract: A method of supplying hydraulic power via a zonal hydraulic system to an aircraft having a plurality of operating phases includes determining a current operating phase of the aircraft and setting a power limit (e.g., a pressure set point and/or flow limitation) for at least one hydraulic power unit based on the current operating phase. The hydraulic system includes a plurality of hydraulic zones. Each of the hydraulic zones includes a local controller, a hydraulic power unit controlled by the local controller, and at least one actuator powered by the hydraulic power unit. Energy savings may be realized by altering the pressure set point for and/or limiting the flow to hydraulic systems in inactive and/or less active zones. The zonal hydraulic system may be reconfigured for safety based on sensed failures and/or during emergency or alternate power conditions with limited available power. Duty cycles for multiple electric motor driven pumps of the system may be balanced.

    Abstract: A trimmer head for a trimmer having a shaft defining a rotation axis. The trimmer head comprising a housing including a main housing and a lower cover, and wherein the main housing contains a pair of opposed eyelets through which trimmer line is discharged. A spool encased within the housing, with a bump knob connected thereto, and having a passageway with opposed ends and extending from one side of the spool to another, the opposed ends being alignable with the eyelets to receive the line. A first set of a plurality of ramps located on an inside surface of the main housing and a second set of a plurality of ramps located within a center barrel of the spool. The two sets of ramps interact to control the direction of releasing line from the trimmer head and forcing indexing of the spool when the bump knob is bumped.

    Abstract: A system for coupling at least one flexible hose is provided that includes first and second annular connecting elements. In a system mounting position, the second element is inserted partially into the flexible hose and the first element is mounted on the second element to compress the flexible hose. The first element includes a tubular body, and a proximal end having an annular part. The tubular body is divided from the annular part by axially extending openings that form at least two hooking portions with hook-shaped ends. The second element includes a first sealing projection and a second retaining projection formed beyond the first sealing projection. The second projection cooperates with the hooking portions. More specifically, the annular part comprises an annular inner protrusion to form a constriction between a bottom and top of the sealing projection side facing the said first end of the second element.
